Lupus affects more people in the US than aIDS. a women's blood disease that has been incurable -- until now.

Wednesday, January 11, 2006"Physician heal thyself" is a proverb quoted in the New Testament by Jesus Christ. This looks to be the remedy. Berean Development, Inc has developed and is marketing a product that is knocking out previously thought incurable diseases that strike mainly women - Systemic Lupus Erthematosus to name one of a few.
What are the symptoms of lupus? Symptoms can range from mild to life-threatening Lupus is a widespread and chronic (lifelong) autoimmune disease that, for unknown reasons, causes the immune system to attack the body's own tissue and organs, including the joints, kidneys, heart, lungs, brain, blood, or skin. The immune system normally protects the body against viruses, bacteria, and other foreign materials. In an autoimmune disease like lupus, the immune system loses its ability to tell the difference between foreign substances and its own cells and tissue. The immune system then makes antibodies directed against "self."
But most convincingly of all the proverbs is: "Physician heal thyself" which was taken seriously by Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. P. ahearn. "Mirac has put my SLE in remission, minimized my Fibromyalgia pain, and has continued to benefit sleep and energy." "It sure does seem the majority of the patients of mine who use this have felt the benefits," says ahearn, "whether it's those with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, or even osteoarthritis".
Dr. ahearn cured her own Lupus before prescribing it to her patients.
Based on the results of several nationwide telephone surveys, the Lupus Foundation of america estimates that approximately 1,500,000 americans have a form of the disease. Despite the fact that lupus can affect men and women of all ages, lupus occurs 10 to 15 times more frequently among adult females than adult males. Lupus develops most often between ages 15 and 44. Lupus is two to three times more common among african americans, Hispanics, asians, and Native americans.
Berean Development, Inc has attacked this particular disease for one reason. Drug companies told Berean that there wasn't enough money in this disease for them to care.
So Berean felt that this would be a great opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus cared. He cared enough to give His life. Their mandate then- obliviate unaddressed diseases so that people will want to hear about Christ. Especially if more people have Lupus than aIDS, sickle cell anemia and multiple sclerosis combined together in the US. Berean spokespersons stated that: "Jesus healed people before they were saved". "What a great way to get people to church and into the kingdom of God, heal them. You can't get chronically sick people to church and why would they go anyway?. They can't pay attention. Just be obedient and do what Jesus said: Go into all the world and preach the gospel and if you lay hands on the sick, they'll be healed. So we are laying Gods hand on them thru the natural medicines in plants that God made. Now they can listen without being in eminent fear of their life, they can appreciate what God did for them" states Bereans' president.
Lupus is NOT infectious, rare, or cancerous or aIDS. Researchers do not know what causes lupus. While scientists believe there is a genetic predisposition to the disease, it is known that environmental factors also play a role in triggering the disease. Some of the factors that may trigger lupus include infections, antibiotics, ultraviolet light, extreme stress, certain drugs, and hormones. Hormonal factors may explain why lupus occurs more frequently in females than in males.
Berean however feels that they have addressed the causes and attacked the cause rather than mask the symptoms like traditional pharmaceuticals. Berean shuts off a gene channel for the first molecular markers in Lupus known as CD 4 and CD 8 Double Negative Natural Killer T-Cells. (CD4–(W3/25+OX19+ and CD8–(OX8+OX19+) Thy-1.2+, These T-Cells, are the first molecular markers in SLE and are the cause of inflammation. They are in over production due to excess hydrogen peroxide produced in response to sugar. The CD 4 and CD 8 DN Natural Killer T-Cells are brought back into normal production instead of overproduction, as in the state of Lupus, thru blockade of a potassium super gene ion channel that is known as the proliferative gene channel for these cells that cause Lupus; Kv1.3+ Underlying this channel is p56lck, a proto-oncogene that is a tumor promotor. By blocking this proliferative gene channel, Kv1.3+. the proto-oncogene , p56lck, is kept "asleep" and the chemical it produces causing cell death, IL-2 (InterLeukin 2) is kept out of production. With this gene channel blocked, the gene not triggered so that IL-2 is out of production, the state of imflammation, and hence Lupus, subsides. "The entire inflammatory cascade is brought down" states Berean. Blood tests have shown it with a drop in aNa (anti-Nuclear antibodies) titres, ds(double stranded) anti-DNas and SED (Sedimentation) rates, the traditional tests for Lupus.
after seeing the results of their clinicals, Berean decided to market the product to the public. However drug companies, Lupus magazines, and Lupus advocacy groups were not impressed. The Lupus Foundation of america stated that they would not allow a natural product to be advertised in their magazine. a board member would quit. a major New York Lupus research group, chaired by a drug company magnate, snubbed the product and would not return calls requesting the opportunity for Berean to make a presentation after Berean sent its technology ahead. Yet his daughter has Lupus. The groups doctor was impressed and gave the go ahead. The president did not.
So Berean went to the public over the Internet and thru select doctors to reach those who have no hope from this life threatening disease. Berean soon found other uses for its product Mirac. Since many overlapping diseases shared common features and mechanisms of pathogenesis Berean felt that their product Mirac, so well designed for Lupus, could now be extended to other disease of similar mechanistic nature, and see them abated.
Fibomyalgia and Rheumatoid arthritis soon became targets for Bereans product Mirac and the results were much the same in these clinical trials. Writes Elisabeth Deffner of the Fibromyalgia aware Online Newsletter: "Clinical Trials Show Medication's Effectiveness in Relieving Symptoms of FM and Other Conditions/ Many who suffer from the chronic pain and other symptoms of fibromyalgia have tried numerous medications and supplements, seeking a product that can help them manage their symptoms and regain the life they used to lead. Some of them have discovered Mirac, a non-prescription medication on the market since august 2002."
She's not the only one to have found relief through this product. Dr. D. Hnat, a Southern California rheumatologist who has conducted several different clinical trial uses of Mirac, describes significant improvements in patients with fibromyalgia, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis who have used Mirac and found reduced joint tenderness, elimination of joint inflammation, and reduced pain and fatigue.
