U.S. State Dept. recruits workers during Jihadist conference

The Obama administration appears to have a serious misinterpretation of the diplomatic concept known as “outreach” when it comes to the Muslim world. This brand of outreach entails recruiting Muslims into the U.S. Foreign Service, according to comments released on Wednesday by a top public-interest group that investigates and exposes government and political corruption, as well as government action taken that jeopardizes homeland security.

King Abdullah is this Round’s Winner

The parliamentary elections in Jordan on January 23, 2013 failed to produce a clear answer as to the impact of the Arab uprisings on the kingdom’s real balance of power between the establishment, headed by the King, and the opposition, led by the Muslim Brotherhood.

From Russia with Love – Wise up, America!

On Jan 26, 2013, Associated Press writer Mike Stobbe popped a piece on the public, strongly suggesting that we should shame the obese into losing weight. The story was carried by Fox and a few MSM outlets, and some have made jokes about the possibility that Mayor Bloomberg could head the effort to shame the fatties, to supplement his war on 16oz soft drinks.

The Great Divide

The problem with our government at all levels is that those making the decisions live by a different set of rules than you and I.

Israel - You don’t have a right to exist or defend yourself

The U.N. continues its anti Semitic tirade against Israel demanding Israel completely withdraw from Judea and Samaria where at least a half a million Israelis live and work.  The Muslim controlled and agenda laden U.N.  screams and quotes endless clauses, article 49, ‘preconditions’ highlighting Palestinian persecution at the hands of the dreaded Israelis.

Hillary’s bungling of Benghazi will come back to haunt her in 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will soon become Citizen Clinton once more.  She’ll rake in huge speaking fees, juicy book deals, corporate board seats and dozens more honorary doctoral degrees.  But none of that can ever wash away what happened at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Control Freaks

The First Amendment says: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. It’s an inviolable right given us by God and no petty politician may take these rights from us; no matter the tactics used to alienate us from the truth.

A Blow to Obama’s Imperial Presidency

President Obama has gone around Congress in as many ways as he can find. One way is by abusing the presidential power to make appointments to government positions during a supposed Senate recess—in an attempt to avoid having the Senate confirm the nominees.

Germany’s Green Energy Switch ‘About To Collapse’

Germany’s switch to renewable energy is bound to fail with consumer prices at a 15-year high while wholesale prices are languishing, the chief executive of Austrian energy group Verbund said. Germany’s market, due to its retreat from nuclear power after Japan’s 2011 Fukushima disaster, was ‘about to collapse’, Wolfgang Anzengruber said, citing a lack of necessary investment that is compounding a broken pricing model.—Reuters, 30 January 2013

Top UN Official In Libya Questions The Fact Of Libyan Arms Transfers To Terrorists

The top United Nations official in Libya Tarek Mitri, head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), briefed the UN Security Council on January 29th regarding the situation in that beleaguered country.  He provided a mixed report. He saw some reason for optimism with regard to institutional reforms and improvements in security, but said that Libyan authorities would still need to make tough decisions on such key issues as constitution-making, transitional justice and security sector reform.

Detroit Public Schools: Bankrupting Minority Students’ Futures

Editor’s note: The following is the second in a series of FrontPage articles that will unmask the racial injustice of Democrat-controlled education by examining some of the nation’s worst (and biggest spending) school districts. To read about the Washington, DC public school system, click here.

In 2009, when the Detroit Public School (DPS) system was facing bankruptcy engendered by huge operating deficits and widespread corruption, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan characterized it as a “national disgrace.” The disgrace, unfortunately, is much more than meets the eye: For all of the bankrupting spending, the school system’s educational results for the 88 percent black student population remain abysmal. And yet the DPS is but a microcosm of the silent scandal haunting the Left, which controls the district and countless others across the nation in precisely the same circumstances. Throughout America, minority students find themselves conscripted into these institutions of misery, while the architects of their prisons remain accountable to no one.

Media Double Standard Protects Sen. Menendez

The Daily Caller (DC) has documented the incredible lack of interest in covering a story involving the FBI and an investigation linked to a prominent Democratic New Jersey U.S. senator. The Miami Herald is reporting, “Stringing up crime scene tape and using a locksmith, the FBI on Tuesday and Wednesday raided the West Palm Beach business of an eye doctor suspected of providing free trips and even underage Dominican Republic prostitutes to U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez — who has denied what he calls the ‘fallacious allegations.’”

The Least We Can Do

The one thing that Hagel, Kerry and Brennan all have in common, besides being Washington insiders, is that they all agree that terrorism is basically a misunderstanding. All three fancy themselves men of the world who know more than the peasants back home because they have spent a few days being shepherded through high level meetings in Brussels, Riyadh and Beijing.

They have spent decades marinating in talking points and they know, for example, that terrorism is due to poverty and that Islamic terrorists aren’t really Muslim, they just try to convince us that they are to trick us into going to war with Islam. Most of all they know that we can’t beat the terrorists on the battlefield, all we can hope to do is wage a war for their hearts and minds, empowering moderates by resolving grievances until the extremists are discredited and peace reigns on earth.

Fundamental Transformation of America Equals turning legal civil society into illegal one

In the ongoing forced Battle Royale between a president and what he sees as his all but captured USA civil society,  there’s no longer any mystique behind the “Fundamental Transformation of America”.  It’s becoming more clear by day that the ‘Fundamental Transformation of America’ is a long-planned formula that is forcing legal civil society into a complete illegal society.

It’s STILL AMNESTY!

It matters not a whit what you call it—it still amounts to amnesty for eleven million illegal aliens in America.

This “new” immigration reform from both the US Senate and the US President is utterly ridiculous.  But in the end, it will be rammed down the throats of the American public simply because the US government has gone rogue and is no longer responsive—nor responsible—to the US citizenry.  (And some people still wonder WHY Americans are arming themselves???)
