Evangelicals Swing Both Ways on Social Issues

A significant proportion of the US population feels marginalized and suffers from perceived widespread disrespect. Their desires are discounted and in some instances actively discouraged by state, federal and local government. Families are either split or prevented from coming together, which results in children who are denied the benefits of a two–parent family. Circumstances beyond the control of these individuals have put them in the shadows, outside the mainstream of American society and at the mercy of an often cruel and heartless public.

Protecting Public Safety One Smashed Door at a Time

In this increasingly dangerous world, it’s nice to know Canadians can rest secure in the knowledge that RCMP officers are out there,  patrolling our streets, ready on a moment’s notice to break into our homes and steal our property.

Devouring Paula Deen

The big “people” story of the news cycle is the firing of Paula “hiS wife could eat no lean” Deen, former doyen of the Food Network. Deen was fired ostensibly for making racial slurs in the past. I think the Paula Deen, the queen of non-lean, was really sacked because of racial profiling and her steadfast refusal to promote the modern Progressive diet.

“Pro-Life” Remains a Core, Conservative Principle

The statement “Life begins at conception” is more than a religious sentiment or a spiritual insinuation, but an accomplished, biological fact. When the ovum and the sperm join, a new life is formed, not just the potential, which will emerge in nine month’s times The fact that life begins at conception received its due respect from none other than Washington Post columnist George Will, a self-avowed agnostic. No religious sentiment informed his view on abortion and the right to life. Life is a right and value which is worth fighting for. Unfortunately, the abortion issue received undue, yet significant press during the 2012 election, following inarticulate “pro-life” statements.

Momentary Lapses Resulting in Injury or Death This Summer

There’s an old song, “Summer Time and the Living is Easy”. But it’s theme can be a prelude to disaster. Every summer what’s supposed to be fun turns into a lifetime of existence as a quadriplegic, or with other severe injuries.  And it happens to all ages.

It Can Happen Here

“How the Jews Defeated Hitler” is the title of a new book by Dr. Benjamin Ginsberg PhD, subtitled “Exploding the Myth of Jewish Passivity in the Face of Nazism.”  The title is counter-intuitive because, as is well known, the Nazis murdered six million Jews in Europe during the course of a deliberate genocide that has since become known as the Holocaust.

The author is a professor of political science and is chair of the Center for Advanced Governmental Studies at Johns Hopkins University and the book is more than just a history of that horrific period of history. It is not that long ago.

Amnesty Will Add Tens of Millions of Assimilation-phobic Foreigners to Democrat Party!

RINOs such as Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and Marco Rubio justify their support for invaders who have violated our borders and ignored our laws with the notion that, once invaders are legalized through amnesty, they will be so grateful for the GOP welcome mat AND so impressed with the conservative agenda that they will flock to the Republican Party by the millions, leaving the Democrats and their tawdry entitlements like food stamps, welfare, and other bribes, in the dust.

Nancy Pelosi: On July 4th, we can celebrate ‘Health Independence’

Yesterday was a banner day for left coast crackpot Nancy Pelosi.  In a single press conference, she managed to invoke Independence Day, the Founding Fathers, and original intent. On any normal day, a “progressive” queen like Pelosi would probably be screaming about how July 4th is a monstrous holiday celebrating the creation of a racist nation at the hands of wealthy slave owners.  This year is different.

Is Carbon Dioxide Guilty and Global Warming Settled Science?

If you ask the global warming alarmists, scientists with a liberal agenda who hide and delete research data to fit their talking points, corrupt third world countries that run the United Nations, and the globalist proponents of UN Agenda 21, the answer is yes.

The bells toll for thee

Designated by Congress as the “National House of Prayer” and often identified as the church of our national leaders, the National Cathedral in Washington DC celebrated Wednesday’s Supreme Court decisions regarding same-sex marriage by ringing its bells for 45 minutes at noon ET, followed by a celebratory prayer service that evening.

Conservatism, Liberalism, Life, Love, and Truth

“What steps are you going to take to showcase this country, not as a lapdog of US imperialism, but as an independent nation, with an independent foreign policy which takes a lead in international diplomacy to outlaw the use of drones, the favorite method of extermination [used by] your friend Mr. Obama?”—Clare Daly addressing a fellow Irish Parliamentarian regarding Obama’s recent visit to Éire.

Media Inciting Race Riots in America

According to FBI statistics, approximately 9,000 African Americans are killed in this country annually. This carnage is basically ignored by the news media, which treats the vast majority of these cases as non-stories. This major tragedy is consistently overlooked by a media that often highlights the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. While all of these deaths are tragic, it is much more dangerous for African Americans on the streets of our country than it is for our soldiers fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan.
