Nuclear Fiascoes: From Diplomatic Failure With North Korea To Debacle With Iran

With Congress due to vote by Sept. 17 on the Iran nuclear deal, there’s a warning worth revisiting. It goes like this: The president is pushing a historic nuclear agreement, saying it will stop a terror-sponsoring tyranny from getting nuclear weapons. And up pipes the democratically elected leader of one of America’s closest allies, to say this nuclear deal is mortal folly. He warns that it is filled with concessions more likely to sustain and embolden the nuclear-weapons-seeking despotism than to disarm it.

Will President Obama’s Regulations Move U.S. Industries Offshore?

When energy prices in the United States were high, the nation saw an exodus of companies moving offshore to obtain lower operating costs. Those industries have been slowly moving back, as hydraulic fracturing has dramatically lowered the cost of natural gas in the United States and allowed natural gas generation to compete with coal in the electricity sector. Unfortunately, President Obama’s regulations are going to make energy much more expensive in the United States, as his so-called “Clean Power Plan” and his methane rule get implemented.

Accommodations Would End Rowan County Dispute

ROWAN COUNTY, KY - U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan is considering the stay request from Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis. VIDEO: Remember Scott Walker? MTP appearance reminds why you should

The more time I spend watching this, the more I think I could do a whole piece on what a moron Chuck Todd is. But we’ll save that for another day. Instead, we’ll just enjoy the complete shellacking Scott Walker puts on him over the course of 30 minutes here. It doesn’t matter what issue Todd comes at him about - Wisconsin job growth, the Milwaukee Bucks arena, border security, the fight against ISIS, the Iran nuclear deal, gay marriage - no matter the issue, Walker is prepared, responds with facts and doesn’t get rattled.

America’s Next Top President? Kanye West anounces 2020 candidacy, will challenge President Trump

Back in the ‘80s, the woefully underappreciated Max Headroom show posited a future where each TV network would select a presidential candidate and whoever got the best ratings would win the nation’s top job. The basic gist of it was “American politics as reality show” and, at the time, it was a fairly novel concept. Unfortunately, we now live in something akin to that world and the old show is looking eerily prescient.

Hidden Emails Reveal A Secret Anti-Fossil Fuel Network

Most of us feel that time goes by faster as we get older. It does. When you are five years old, one year represents 20 percent of your life. Yet, when you are fifty, that same calendar year is only 2 percent of your life—making that single timeframe much smaller. Those of us involved in fighting the bad energy policies coming out of Washington have a similar feeling: the second term of the Obama Administration seems to be throwing much more at us and at such speed that we can barely keep up. Likewise, they are.

Camp of the Apocalypse

“The West is empty, even if it has not yet become really aware of it. An extraordinarily inventive civilization, surely the only one capable of meeting the challenges of the third millennium, the West has no soul left.”

“At every level - nations, races, cultures, as well as individuals - it is always the soul that wins the decisive battles. It is only the soul that forms the weave of gold and brass from which the shields that save the strong are fashioned. I can hardly discern any soul in us.”

So wrote the great French novelist, Jean Raspail, in 1973 in his harrowing, apocalyptic novel, The Camp of the Saints, that foretold the coming disastrous immigration dilemma facing the nations of the West today. Raspail was far ahead of his time - with a brilliant flair for discerning the “big picture” of humanity’s precarious swings regarding culture, ideology, power, and politics.

Negotiations with Hamas on a Long-Term Agreement

There has been much mention in recent weeks of negotiations between Israel and Hamas on a stable long-term agreement. Negotiations are reportedly underway through various mediators, with Turkey and former Quartet Middle East envoy Tony Blair the most prominent. According to some reports, the parties are close to a 5-10 year ceasefire and a “removal of the blockade” on the Gaza Strip, which will include opening the borders and establishing a port in Turkish Cyprus, from where, after inspection in Cyprus, cargo will head to the Gaza Strip.

Michele Bachmann lookalike confirms: Yeah, I think Trump’s hair is real

I’ll be honest. I sort of assumed it was a toupee too, mainly because I can’t work out the physics of where it starts and how it swoops in those implausible directions. But you can look at my picture. Like I know anything about full heads of hair and how they operate. If it turns out that thing is real . . . I just don’t know what to believe about anything anymore.

Rabbis for Hamas, Obama and Iran

In 2008, Elliot Dorff joined Rabbis for Obama in their claim that Senator Obama would be a “leader in the fight against serious threats to Israel.”

Dorff, a Beverly Hills based clergyman, showed a deep grasp of geopolitical issues when he claimed that because of President Bush, “now the Taliban inhabit Iraq, where they never used to be.” This would have come as news to both the Taliban and Iraq. But Rabbis for Obama kept Dorff’s testimonial up because no one there seemed to know any better or know anything except how awful Israel is.

Will the ‘silent majority’ speak out?

The term “silent majority” is now, according to the left, a racist term Apparently, to members of the association for the perpetually offended “silent majority’ is a code for white people wanting the world to go back to the way it was years ago. These whites want to take their country back from those who are not white.

One person who in this day and age is not afraid to use the term is Devon Anderson, the district attorney for Harris County, Texas.

Cop Execution in Texas

Cops in Houston, Texas are blaming the increasingly violent Black Lives Matter movement for the unprovoked killing Friday of a uniformed white sheriff’s deputy allegedly committed by a black man who snuck up on the officer without saying a word and fired a gun repeatedly into his body until he was dead.

This murder appears to be the latest in a series of cop-killings nationwide committed by African-Americans who claim blacks are perennial victims of racial discrimination at the hands of law enforcement. President Barack Hussein Obama has been at the forefront of ramping up hostility to police officers throughout his time in office. From early in his presidency when he jumped to conclusions accusing Cambridge, Massachusetts police of acting “stupidly” for daring to arrest his black Harvard professor friend, Henry Louis Gates Jr., on suspicion of burglary, Obama has gone out of his way to foment race-based resentment and cop-hatred. His Saul Alinsky-style agitation encouraged the formation of the virulently racist Black Lives Matter movement whose members have declared “war” against police.

Obama Drive to “Fundamentally Transform” America Reaches New Heights!

Barack Obama continues unabated in his drive to transform anything and everything which bears a Caucasian footprint to one where people of color are given equal, or superior, dominance in American culture and history.

Obama’s latest toying in pursuit of racial gerrymandering involves the renaming of Mount McKinley, named after an old, dead white male who parlayed his despicable white privilege to become 25th US President, to Denali in honor of generations of Alaska natives.

EPA Discovers Water Flows Downhill

Only the Obama administration, with it’s special kind of incompetence, could turn a mine that’s been closed for 92 years into an environmental disaster today. That’s exactly what happened when the Keystone Regulators at the Environmental “Protection” Agency decided to dig into a dam holding back dangerously polluted water at the Gold King mine.

According to the incomparable Paul Driessen, rather than sink a small diameter pipe into the dam to analyze the water, the EPA “…used an excavator to dig away tons of rock and debris that were blocking the entrance portal.”

Climate issues we do need to address

Reeling stock markets across the globe hammered savings, pension funds, innovation and growth. US stocks lost over $2 trillion in market value in eight days, before rallying somewhat, while the far smaller Shanghai Composite Index lost $1 trillion in four days of trading, the Wall Street Journal reports.

SOS to Pope Francis: It’s souls that need saving, not the environment

In a surrealistic world the pope’s coming to America is somewhat like Cleopatra coming to Mark Antony.

Protocol and pomp and ceremony aside, why would Christ’s Vicar on Earth come to pay homage to a president who is unabashedly the world’s top champion of abortions, including partial birth abortions;  whose party refuses to defund Planned Parenthood whose organization sells body parts of aborted babies on the black market;  and whose presidency is driven by a soul-corroding hatred of the country he was elected to serve?

Jeb! asks George! for Help

Jeb Bush has lost major campaign donors, according to Politico.

While mainstream newspapers continue to buoy his character and policies, hoping for another Bush-Clinton mix-up in 2016, the third Bush candidate for President is finding that he is indeed having to fight for the nomination, and despite his plainspoken views and honesty in debates, plus the large campaign cash at his disposal, no one is really interested in Jeb.
