Trump: This is our new American moment

Trump: This is our new American moment It wasn't the speech I would have preferred, but I didn't really think we were going to get that. Given that President Trump choose the fairly traditional route for a State of the Union address, he came off about as well as presidents ever do. Even some of the schmaltzier elements were presented pretty well.

VIDEO: Idiot doesn't like Michigan State board's choice for interim president, so he jumps on their table You have the right to protest. You don't have the right to invade people's work spaces, and when someone is having a meeting, the fact that you disagree with their action doesn't give you the right to jump up on their meeting table, sit there and refuse to leave. That does not make you a hero of free speech. It just makes you an obnoxious, petulant jerk.

The Search for a Russian Mole

The Search for a Russian Mole Will the investigation of anti-Trump bias in the FBI turn into something even more ominous? Consider the well-established fact that President Barack Hussein Obama, using a pseudonym, knowingly exchanged emails with Hillary on her private unsecure server. He then lied about it. That’s why Hillary was spared. The FBI spared her to protect him.

Nunes Statement on FBI, DOJ Objections to Release of HPSCI Memo

Nunes Statement on FBI, DOJ Objections to Release of HPSCI Memo House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes issued the following statement today: “Having stonewalled Congress’ demands for information for nearly a year, it’s no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies.

Hillary: Hey, I didn’t fire that sexual harasser because I believe in second chances

Hillary: Hey, I didn't fire that sexual harasser because I believe in second chances I actually don't think this makes the top 20 of Hillary's most egregious actions, if only because that's an exceedingly difficult list to crack. During her 2008 campaign, she had a "faith advisor" named Burns Strider who I guess would send her Bible passages. (We could go in a whole direction here for sure, but let's stay on point.) It turned out that Strider also liked to lavish unwanted attention on the ladies, and was quite obnoxious about it, to the point where one of them complained to the campaign and Hillary had to make a decision of what to do about Strider.

January Hortic Birthdays

January Hortic Birthdays A tip of the garden hat to a few of those who have improved our gardens, health and lives in general: "Whoever could make two ears of corn grow where only one grew before would deserve better of mankind, and do more essential service to his country, than the whole race of politicians put together." National Smack A Lib Day

National Smack A Lib DayA Vietnam vet friend of mine, who has since passed away, once opined that what America really needs is a good old fashioned "National Smack A Lib Day." Just to drain off some of that excess adrenaline, you know?

Our country is dealing with the long time failure of our government to do its job

Our country is dealing with the long time failure of our government to do its job. We are faced with the results of an immigration policy that has been ignored for years. We have within our borders people who do not belong here, yet we recognize that many have been here for years, perhaps their entire lives, and only know this country.

Trump says he’s 100 percent in favor of #ReleaseTheMemo; Kelly says it’s coming soon

Trump says he's 100 percent in favor of #ReleaseTheMemo; Kelly says it's coming soon I know how this could turn out. Once the Nunes memo is public, it's guaranteed that the memo itself will face at least as much public scrutiny as those Nunes discusses in it. The media won't turn the heat on the DOJ and FBI officials Nunes accuses of abusing their power. They'll turn the heat on Nunes for daring to offer such a partisan slant on the documents he was allowed to view but not keep copies of.

Beware the ‘Conservative’ Who Grows in Office

Virginia politician, Bill Stanley The maddening problem facing conservatives fighting the growth of Big Government is that much of the growth is fertilized by former conservatives who start growing first. The phenomena is most evident in benighted lands that don’t impose term limits and have legislative bodies that meet year around.
