George Soros sycophant House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stopping funding for our troops

Sometimes life can kick you in the gut, deliver grim news that leaves you reeling and feeling a bit unsure about yourself and your place in the world.

That's how I felt when I received the news that my employer, Citadel Broadcasting, was going to have to "let me go" because of the severe financial crisis the company is experiencing. I joined hundreds of thousands of other Americans suddenly jobless. I'd been on the air for 14 years at KSFO 560 AM-San Francisco, the Bay Area's island of conservatism amid a stormy sea of liberalism. The unexpected layoff gave me a lot of time to reflect about what is really important to me. I discovered that the activism I do on behalf of our troops and my conservative ideals are my sustaining energy and font of gratification. My friend and ally in the trenches of political warfare, fellow conservative Michelle Malkin, is launching a new online broadcasting platform at her website HotAir.com. Michelle wanted to know if I wanted to go into the live video-streaming business and broadcast programming on her site. An idea popped into my head – as the chairman of Move America Forward, the nation's largest pro-troop organization, I could seize this opportunity to rally the American people to make a really grand statement in support of our warriors. And such an effort couldn't come at a more important time. Right now George Soros sycophant House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is orchestrating a shameful and disgusting effort to stop funding for our troops serving overseas in the war on terror. She's galvanized Democrats in the House of Representatives to cut off our military at the knees – a feat al-Qaida has not managed to do in either Iraq or Afghanistan. The website Military.com documented the ramifications of Pelosi's despicable behavior by publishing a news report with this headline: "Troops Forced to Fight for Free?" This sneaky, cowardly move is exactly what we expect from Nancy Pelosi and her radical leftist allies. But we're going to show our troops that these anti-military radicals do not speak for the majority of Americans – that the American people stand in solidarity with the men and women who wear the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. We've launched an effort to send the largest single shipment of care packages to our troops in history. We will show our heroic troops that they are loved and supported by a grateful nation, and that they need not be concerned with any televised rants by Nancy Pelosi, Cindy Sheehan, Barack Obama, Ted Kennedy or any other America-bashing leftist radical. On June 26, we'll broadcast an eight-hour web-a-thon, "From the Frontlines," to collect sponsorships for these care packages, a historic event the likes of which has never been done before. We'll feature streamed video reports direct from our troops serving on the frontlines of Iraq and Afghanistan. Joseph Farah, editor and CEO here at WorldNetDaily, helped ensure a successful launch for this effort with an early endorsement and commitment to appear during the June 26 "From the Frontlines" broadcast. America's titans of talk radio have similarly lent their support. No less than Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and Monica Crowley have all agreed to appear on the web-a-thon and help drive sponsorships of as many care packages for our troops as possible. This is a positive, pro-active way to sidestep the liberal media and political establishment. A lot of times we find ourselves depressed or frustrated by the evidence of a cultural decline in our nation. You know how angered you feel when you see actors, politicians or journalists breaking out the kneepads to ingratiate themselves to anti-American dictators and totalitarian despots. Whether they are politburo chiefs of the old Soviet Union, or those who appease the ayatollahs of Iran, the story is always the same – it's just the names of the actors that change. But President Ronald Reagan showed us that the spirit of the heartland of America was far brighter than the cultural rot that had decayed the meccas of Hollywood, the realms of Foggy Bottom in Washington, D.C., and the journalist confines of New York City. We can win, as we have done before, the war for the hearts and minds of Americans by refusing to be beaten down by those who are telling us that America is the problem. America is not the problem. America is the solution, and our troops are agents of salvation for free people threatened by murderous thugs and their armies – most notably protecting our nation and denying Islamic jihadists any further terrorist attacks on American soil since Sept. 11, 2001. You can join this historic effort and ship care packages to U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan by visiting our website: http://www.moveamericaforward.org. And remember to join us for the "From the Frontlines" web-a-thon on June 26! Late Breaking Update! Senator Bill Frist today is endorsing “From The Frontlines” produced Melanie Morgan and Michelle Malkin
