Notice how quickly Obama shifted the blame to the Republicans? Whenever that weasel accepts the blame for something it is probably for blowing cigarette smoke up a bypasser’s kilt.
It’s True – Obama Doesn’t Know His Lies from His Prevarications

This past Saturday, February 22, 2013, I felt a fresh breeze coming from my computer so I checked and believe it or not, there was an honest outpouring coming from the most unlikely source this side of the White House. Actually that isn’t an accurate statement as this source is most definitely and POSITIVELY on the side of the White House. It is one of the lying liberals’ biggest supporters in Washington, the Washington Post.
But one of the cuckoos must have fallen out of the nest, as narrated by Paul Scicchitano in Newsmax online on February 24, 2013, quoting one of the associate editors at the Post, Bob Woodward, author of a column stating “The President and (Treasury Secretary Jack) Lew had this wrong.” Newsmax went on that “Woodward maintains that the commander-in-chief need look no further than his own White House if he wants to blame someone.”
IF, he wants to blame someone? When does he NOT want to blame someone else besides himself when anything goes wrong? Even Obama himself must grow tired of having to keep repeating Former President George W. Bush’s name for all of the evils and ills in this ditzy-souped up Administration.
Incidentally, that column Woodward wrote was not quoted an official title by Newsmax, it titled its column on the story as, “Woodward: Obama Not Telling Truth on Sequester”; which is sort of like poking a finger in the chief executive’s eye. Ouch!
Newsmax credits Woodward with saying that “the $85 billion in automatic spending cuts that are set to begin on Friday are surrounded by ‘misunderstanding, misstatements and all the classic contortions of partisan message management.’ The cuts amount to a total of $1.2 trillion over 10 years.”
Newsmax also credited Woodward with “My extensive reporting for my book ‘The Price of Politics’ shows that the automatic spending cuts were initiated by the White House and were the brainchild of Lew and White House congressional relations chief Rob Nabors — probably the foremost experts on budget issues in the senior ranks of the federal government.”
Probably in an effort to mix the pot a bit, Newsmax had this further blame tidbit to share with us, “Nabors has told others that they checked with the president before going to see Reid,” Woodward explained. “A majority of Republicans did vote for the Budget Control Act that summer, which included the sequester. Key Republican staffers said they didn’t even initially know what a sequester was — because the concept stemmed from the budget wars of the 1980s, when they were not in government.”
In Woodward’s own article that appeared in the WAPO on Saturday, February 23, 2013, the title was, “Obama’s sequester deal-changer” in which he credits Evelyn Duffy for contributing, he asks, “What is the non-budget wonk to make of this? Who is responsible? What really happened?
Woodward provides this answer, “The finger-pointing began during the third presidential debate last fall, on Oct. 22, when President Obama blamed Congress. ‘The sequester is not something that I’ve proposed,’ Obama said. ‘It is something that Congress has proposed.’
Did you notice how quickly “O” shifted the blame to the Republicans? Whenever that weasel accepts the blame for something it is probably for blowing cigarette smoke up a bypasser’s kilt.
Woodward again: “The White House chief of staff at the time, Jack Lew, who had been budget director during the negotiations that set up the sequester in 2011, backed up the president two days later.
“There was an insistence on the part of Republicans in Congress for there to be some automatic trigger,” Lew said while campaigning in Florida. It “was very much rooted in the Republican congressional insistence that there be an automatic measure.
“The president and Lew had this wrong. My extensive reporting for my book ‘The Price of Politics’ shows that the automatic spending cuts were initiated by the White House and were the brainchild of Lew and White House congressional relations chief Rob Nabors — probably the foremost experts on budget issues in the senior ranks of the federal government.
“Obama personally approved of the plan for Lew and Nabors to propose the sequester to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). They did so at 2:30 p.m. July 27, 2011, according to interviews with two senior White House aides who were directly involved.”
Woodward’s account of this ‘sequester’ fiasco proves that our chief imposter or usurper is an unashamed liar and when caught in a blatant lie he just shrugs it off and goes on his merry way.
One has to wonder what the leaders of other nations think of his slipperyness when even his own political party’s icons are quick to disparage him. Only his flunkies here in this country will stand by him no matter how preposterous he makes himself look.
