Pentagon Wounds Ft. Hood Victims

The Pentagon is sticking with its preposterous fabrication about the Ft. Hood massacre being just another incidence of “workplace violence.” You know, like the proverbial disgruntled employee who snapped or the domestic abuser who finally went too far.
The Ft. Hood shooter and self-declared Soldier of Allah, Nidal Hasan, unlike your standard issue shooter, was shouting “Allauh Akbar” during his rampage. That’s not the only distinguishing behavior that manifestly defines Hasan as a terrorist.
Hasan had been in communication with American born terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki, including eighteen emails.
Hasan carried business cards identifying himself as “SOA (SWT)”. Translation: Soldier of Allah. ( Subhanauh Wa Ta’all), Glory to God.
Even congress has been able to figure out that the Ft. Hood victims sustained their wounds at the hands of a terrorist, as has the FBI. Refusing to label the slaughter what it really is causes the survivors to lose out on benefits to which they are most certainly entitled.
For example, Staff Sgt. Shawn Manning was shot six times but was denied benefits that would accrue to a soldier injured in an act of terror or battle overseas. According to an editorial in IBD, the “workplace violence” designation has cost Manning almost $70,000 in benefits.
The Ft. Hood victims are deserving of purple hearts. It could not be more clear that Nidal Hasan was a terrorist carrying out an attack against our troops.
What is the current administration worried about? That awarding purple hearts to the Ft. Hood victims “might” compromise poor Hasan’s ability to get a fair trial.
How’s that, exactly? The dead and wounded are no less so because the Pentagon insists on handling this case in a fully fact free manner.
The Obama administration has found a way to wound the victims all over again.
