All lives matter too much for America to be threatened with a Hillary presidency

Liberals mad at Hillary for saying 'all lives matter'

This is one of the dumbest stories you'll read all day, which you might expect because it's entirely about the left, and the woman the left is prepared to put in the White House, and about the left's insistence on total compliance with its bizarre language code. The more a story features the left, the dumber it is going to be. It's impossible to have sympathy for Hillary Clinton when the left accuses her of violating their speech code. She is as willing as anyone to foment such nonsense if she thinks it will serve her purposes to do so. But as dumb as this story is, it's worth reading because it demonstrates the nature of those who have already seized a great deal of political power in this country, and will keep taking more as long as they are allowed to do so.
Hillary's crime was that, in recounting a (probably made up) story about her mother, she used the phrase no one is ever allowed to use, which is "all lives matter." Becuase, you see, no they don't:
She was talking about how a disproportionate number of young people of color are out of school and out of work and, explaining that everyone needs a “chance and a champion,” she recalled how her mother was abandoned as a teenager and went on to work as a maid. “What kept you going?” Mrs. Clinton remembered asking her mother. “Her answer was very simple. Kindness along the way from someone who believed she mattered. All lives matter.” The remark caused a stir on social media, with some African-Americans on Twitter suggesting that Mrs. Clinton had lost their votes. The Rev. Renita Lamkin, who was in the audience at the event, told NPR that Mrs. Clinton’s comment did not go unnoticed. “That blew a lot of support that she may have been able to engender here,” she said.

You're not allowed to say "all lives matter" because the left has established a mantra - with a hashtag, even, and nothing could make a mantra more official than that - of declaring that #blacklivesmatter. You have to say it right. You have to say it the way they want you to say it. No variations allowed. Professor Judith Butler of UC Berkeley explains why there can be no exceptions to the speech code:
“When some people rejoin with ‘All Lives Matter’ they misunderstand the problem, but not because their message is untrue,” she wrote. “It is true that all lives matter, but it is equally true that not all lives are understood to matter which is precisely why it is most important to name the lives that have not mattered, and are struggling to matter in the way they deserve.”
It gives me limitless joy to see Hillary trapped in this nonsense because she would not hesitate in the slightest to rake anyone else over the coals for something so ridiculous, but also because the left is touting her for president when she is in fact so many of the things they can't stand. In addition to being extremely rich and greedy for as much more as she can get, Hillary is a terrible speaker who will never be able to get right all the phrases and expressions the left demands be uttered with robot-like efficiency. She's not that disciplined and she's not that smart. She also doesn't really believe a word of it, which means she's constantly having to try to remember what she's pretending to believe on any given day. That's a problem for the true believers on the left, who really don't think all lives matter because all lives can't help them to achieve political power, which is the only thing that matters to them. This is one where you just pop the popcorn and enjoy the show. The left will find some way to let her skate because they have too much invested in her success. And no, she didn't really do anything wrong (except probably making up the whole conversation with her mother in the first place), but who cares? She's doing plenty wrong by running for president in the first place, as she is entirely unqualified for the job and she's jeopardizing the nation's future by trying to get it. That's a reckless action, and anything she does in the course of it is wrong by definition. All lives matter too much for America to be threatened with a Hillary presidency.
