Trumpeting away the ‘America is Dead’ Myth

Even if Donald Trump doesn’t make it as the GOP’s Anointed One , let alone as America’s 45th President, those who care about the West, will still owe him a huge debt of gratitude. Almost seven years on, Donald Trump is waking up America to the socialist sugar-spun fairytale that Barack Hussein Obama continues to spin: that America is dead; that it is over; that there is no comeback position.
After all, the Republicans sent voter-delivered in majority mode after the last midterm elections, have thrown in with the Democrats. Pope Francis, now seemingly lined up with Obama and the United Nations, who work to put global warming/climate change first and foremost among all other human issues--even before the scourge of Islamist terrorism-- is coming to America next month. While the talking heads, who most influence public opinion from the boob tube, try to shut him out, Donald Trump is sending out a clear message that America is not dead and the 239 years of America that preceded Obama’s obsessive ‘Fundamental Transformation of America’ , is on the way back. While most others, like Establishment Republicans are doing the ‘Dither Dance’ or throwing up their hands in despair, along comes Donald Trump calling what is surely among the world’s most admired nations back from the dead. Up to now it’s been like we’ve all been on the same bus heading to the edge of the cliff waiting for someone among the endlessly chattering talking heads to yell: “Someone do something. There are--and always have been--live embers burning among the coals, only waiting for someone to come along and blow on them. Donald Trump chooses to rake them back into life with the long, pointed talons of a wizard come to life.

So Megyn Kelly, Charles Krauthammer and Karl Rove, among others don’t like Trump’s diamond-in-the-rough style? Too bad. Trump’s bull-in-the-china-shop manner’s got nothing on the destructive one Obama’s still using to bring America down. There’s no such thing as perfection in this valley of tears. No matter how hard wildly popular Reality TV tries to project otherwise, perfection exists only on high. Too many forget that God made little boys and little girls as sure as he made little green apples. With self-made celebrities dominating the news of the day, we’re fortunate that Kim Kardashian didn’t take it into her head to run for president. For the sake of the little people of life just trying to get by, the ship called America has to be turned around. We must throw off the shackles of soul-killing socialism, even with a pope in on the act. Those clinging to the faint and false hope that Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders or Jeb Bush can’t be any worse than Obama, are wrong. Obama is not just getting help from the George Soros’ and Valerie Jarretts of this world, the Repubs have completely thrown in with him, with a now obvious “me-first-America-last” attitude. The “Make America Great Again” logo that appears on Trump’s baseball hat is the best campaign logo any presidential hopeful could ever use, largely because those words represent the diehard hopes and dreams of millions of America-loving citizens who have waited seven long years for substantial change. This is an earnest and sincere logo that didn’t come from the faux Greek columns used to introduce the biggest America hater of all time from the DNC in Denver; it didn’t come from a bunch of millennial artistes who followed up a rising sun logo with posters of a bogus messiah destined to saturate an unsuspecting society worldwide. The Donald Trump logo comes from the hearts and souls of We the (mostly ignored until election time) people, and it’s going to stick no matter who gets to run the last mile. “And oh, that photo: The pursed-lipped, squinty-eyed Trump frowning under his new chapeau. Juxtapose almost anything with Trump’s sourpuss, and you’ve got yourself an indelible image.” writes Slate.com. “But the fuss was in large part about the hat qua hat. Its text, “Make America Great Again” — a shameless rip-off of Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign slogan “Let’s Make America Great Again.” (Note how Trump tweaks it to be both less inclusive and more bossy.)” Few campaign logos rate an encore, but Reagan’s, which suits 2016 as much as it did in 1980, is one. “Everything he touches turns to tweets”, says Slate.com of Trump. This is the Trump Tweet of Sunday, August 23, 2015: New Reuters Poll just came out and has me at 32%, highest number yet.The silent majority is back and we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! After seven years of unprecedented oppression, the Silent Majority IS back. “We Will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" is a message that should be both set to music and shouted from the rooftops. God bountifully bless Donald Trump, his warts notwithstanding, for bringing it back to life when it was most of all needed.
