Trump: “The bigger issue is that Obama is waging a war against Christians in this country."

Hillary’s Obama Muslim Smear missed by Media, Lands on Trump

It is not politically correct or kosher to call President Barack Obama a Muslim even if suspicions run high that he is one. Those who conclude that, given his conduct, Obama must be Muslim will be tagged, taunted, media-harassed, made a scapegoat and forced by a holier-than-thou “highly offended” mainstream media, to get down on their knees and apologize. Smear victims know by now that even if the demanded apology were proffered with the necessary groveling thrown in for good measure, any future the apologist once had is now as dead as halal meat.
It is particularly not politically correct for a Republican presidential hopeful to not correct an unknown rally attendee who called Obama a Muslim. And for not calling out that supporter with an abject apology in the same breath, it was only a matter of time before the entire media ganged up on the offender for having committed a sort of crime of the century. Hillary Clinton and media celebrities took to the water like sharks when they smell blood. Clinton was ”appalled” that Trump did not condemn the rally attendee. Yet it was allegedly her 2008 campaign team who first tagged Barack Obama as a Muslim: “Obama campaign manager David Plouffe accused the Clinton campaign Monday of "shameful offensive fear-mongering" by circulating a photo as an attempted smear. ()
“Plouffe was reacting to a banner headline on the Drudge Report saying that aides to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) had e-mailed a photo calling attention to the African roots of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.). "The photo, taken in 2006, shows the Democrat front-runner dressed as a Somali Elder, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya," the Drudge Report said. The photo created huge buzz in political circles and immediately became known as "the 'dressed' photo," reflecting the Drudge terminology.

“Plouffe said in a statement: “On the very day that Senator Clinton is giving a speech about restoring respect for America in the world, her campaign has engaged in the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we’ve seen from either party in this election. This is part of a disturbing pattern that led her county chairs to resign in Iowa, her campaign chairman to resign in New Hampshire, and it’s exactly the kind of divisive politics that turns away Americans of all parties and diminishes respect for America in the world," said Plouffe.  “The Clinton campaign issued an official response to the growing tempest - but the statement from campaign manager Maggie Williams did not respond to the central question of whether staffers circulated the photo.  “Enough,” Williams said in the statement. “If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely.  “This is nothing more than an obvious and transparent attempt to distract from the serious issues confronting our country today and to attempt to create the very divisions they claim to decry. We will not be distracted.”  With no proof he ever owned up to it, Obama does sympathize with the Muslim world; he aids and arms the Muslim Brotherhood, which is recognized as a terrorist organization everywhere in the world except in D.C., where some of them have already been installed with portfolios. The names of the Muslims installed in the Obama administration are rarely, if ever, seen in the mainstream media, mainly because it is not politically correct to pinpoint which Muslims are holding which offices in the current administration. Nor is it ever politically correct to tag a terrorist as a radical Islamist terrorist, or to identify “workplace violence” as an act of terror. There has been no mea culpa from Donald Trump on his decision not to challenge a rally attendee’s claim that President Obama is a Muslim and “not even an American”, in fact he’s double downed, stating that defending the president is not his moral obligation. The Democrats and their running dog media need that Trump mea culpa to transform “Make America Great again” to “Trump supports anti-Muslim racists” and they’ll circle his wagon until it comes. "Am I morally obligated to defend the president every time somebody says something bad or controversial about him? I don't think so!" Trump said in series of tweets Saturday morning. (FoxNews, Sept. 19, 2015)
“Trump critics -- including fellow GOP White House candidate South Carolina Sen Lindsey Graham -- have tried to use the exchange at the New Hampshire event Thursday night to knock back the GOP presidential front-runner and billionaire businessman.”
Everyone’s suddenly in on the act, including the newly PR-switched Megyn Kelly, trying to score brownie points for Obama over at the cable television network that’s making Trump the main fox chased by the progressive hounds. Controlled by the alphabet television networks, the RNC who are willing to pay to have their presidential hopefuls ridiculed by celebrity commentators like Kelly and Jake Tapper, is blithely foisting Carly Fiorina on Republican voters until they can find the right moment to put Jeb Bush back out in front. They’re trying to count their chickens before they hatch, and are pushing out the message that The Donald is through:
“Critics also have suggested Trump backed out of an event Friday evening in early-voting state South Carolina to avoid the controversy. The Trump campaign has said Trump had to attend to a business deal that had been delayed. (FoxNews) “On Saturday, the bombastic Trump also tweeted: "This is the first time in my life that I have caused controversy by NOT saying something." “His next tweet was: "If someone made a nasty or controversial statement about me to the president, do you really think he would come to my rescue? No chance!" “He also argued the media would have accused him of interfering with the man's right of free speech, tweeting “a no win situation!" “At the town hall style event Thursday, the unidentified man said: "We have a problem in this country. It's called Muslim. … You know our current president is one. You know he's not even an American." “A seeming surprised Trump said: "We need this question? This is the first question?" “Campaign manager Corey Lewandowski later said Trump only heard and responded to the later part of the man’s question about Muslim training camps in the United States.”
The Trump rally attendee was hardly the first to contend that Obama is a Muslim. The charge that the president is a Muslim has been going the rounds for the past seven years, in fact ever since the Clinton campaign gave it oxygen. It’s the chatter around the office water cooler, the barbershop and does a brisk business on the D.C. cocktail circuit. Imagine the same mainstream media who never vetted Obama going after Trump and a rally attendee for saying what so many others have been saying all along. The truth is that we just don’t know who Barack Obama really is, never did, and likely never will until he’s long gone out of office. That was the way it was planned when the DNC introduced the community organizer from the faux Greek columns in Denver back in 2008. We don’t know whether Obama’s a Muslim, a Viking or an alien from another planet. All we know for sure is that he wants to take America down. That’s the way it is. “It is,” as the millennials would say, “what it is”. Meanwhile, Trump, who in year’s past questioned whether Obama has a U.S. birth certificate, said in a New York Times interview published Friday that “the bigger issue is that Obama is waging a war against Christians in this country." Now that the Pope is on his way to America, it’s over to you, Francis.
