Dear Irit and Elisheva: Yes, I voted for Trump. We all know the controversies. As Casey Stengel, manager of the Yankees in the 1950s said, “You can look’em up.” The fact is that Trump blasted through the politically-correct rhetoric and appealed to the heart of tens of millions of Americans who want to see their country re-dedicated to exceptionalism, and, yes, even, greatness.
America is already great, because America is basically good. Hillary Clinton represented the worst of America, cynicism, personal aggrandizement, an attitude of being above the law. Her campaign slogan of Stronger Together, was a lie, disingenuous, no person and no couple has ever been so self-centered and referential than her and her husband President Clinton. Hillary had participated in the Obama administration, the most divisive presidency ever. Hillary had contempt for ordinary Americans. She called them a “basket of deplorables.” Well, to me “Deplorable Lives Matter.” These people go to work every day. They want to work. They don’t want handouts from the government and prefer to support their families by the sweat of their own initiative and brows. I identify with these people, these Americans, and they are my friends and fellow travelers on G-d’s planet earth. The Democratic Party looks at regular Americans as “Fly-over Country,” people to be marginalized and controlled because they are too stupid to manage their own lives. These tin-dictator statists tell them to “shut-up,” and go away, so the “smart ones,” who “know better,” with their law degrees and elitist attitudes can work their magic which never works. They call us racists because they have nothing else that they can throw at us except failed liberal policies. We are not racists because we don’t want ever greater numbers of undocumented illegals and unvetted refugee immigrants to come here, many of whom commit crimes, and who will become eventual Democrat voters. We Americans are not the racists; it is the Democrat Party who are the ones who block the effort to create alternatives to failing public schools that sentence millions of minority children to these failure factories. The United Federation of Teachers, the teachers’ union, is the biggest and most reliable funder of the Democrat Party and they do everything possible to prevent parents from receiving the funds to send their children to the schools of their choice. If you want to witness anarchy in America, they all have two things in common, failing public schools and city government dominated by the Democratic Party.

Girls, your future is in your own hands, and it is not going to be any less wonderful because Donald Trump is to be president. The schools we send you to care about you, Mommy cares, I care, and so does your entire family. We must not drink from the well of self-pity, and resentment, and victimization, or the feeling of Entitlement. These are not the attitudes and attributes, neither are they our legacy as Americans. We reward hard work, perseverance, resilience, effort, love, giving back, being strong – the real strong that looks in the mirror and asks, “What can I do about this.” Obviously, I am not, nor have I ever been a girl. But I can tell you with certainty that life is often difficult for man and woman alike. Win or lose, there is always something to play for, to compete for, and to improve with G-d’s help. That’s the kind of country that I want to live in, and that’s why I voted for Donald J. Trump. I will keep my eyes open and my ears up, as the journey continues. Love, Tati
