A Sigh Of Relief Heard Round The World!!!

It's 3 AM my time, election night, and my feet have not touched the ground for the past couple of hours. The last active brain cells in my head are rattling around like a couple of BBs in a coffee can. The suspense of yesterday's election was chilling, to say the least, and I am shot. I'm sure many of my readers are just as incredulously elated as I am. Finally shutting my eyes on a year of anticipation, these thoughts won't sleep with me until they are expressed broadcast! First, I am amazed and thankful to God that, despite all the well documented bullying and cheating that took place yesterday at the polls, Trump still took down a smashing victory! Thank God!

We must never forget that Obama and his wife spent the last eight years exacerbating class hatred and reawakening racial tensions

Next, I fear that the pack of rabid dogs (of all colors and interests) that our current president has helped to kennel and nourish will unleash themselves on the streets in retaliation to the democratic process they all hold in complete contempt. It doesn't take much of an imagination to wonder if the same anarchists that we saw in Charlotte, under the subtle encouragement of AG Loretta Lynch, won't flex their muscles again in 'peaceful protest' complete with bloody, fatal violence. We must never forget that Obama and his wife spent the last eight years exacerbating class hatred and reawakening racial tensions that had just noticeably been healing before they began stirring the pot. Effectively they have promoted the worst sort of simmering unrest this nation has ever experienced. We will be blessed - every one of us - if that monster can ever be disassembled. Obama and the term 'unify' are as synonymous as oil and water. Every time this discriminated-against president and his underprivileged wife (who, from college to the White House, both successfully worked the system like a pinball machine) hauled out their 'blackness' to further irritate our racial disharmony, they knew precisely what they were doing. Again, we need to be in prayer for divine help because only God can restore our peace. Continuing, I am unspeakably thankful that our new Constitutionally-respectful president-elect will have both the House and Senate majority to help him in his task of making America great again. He'll need that help because the liberal press is even less forgiving than Darth Vader. But I especially remember when we were here not so long ago. George W. Bush had a very potentially cooperative House and Senate. And everybody sat on their hands. May God shame us into not replicating such an abortion of wasted opportunity.

My friends, we have sent up a lot of prayer for our nation and Donald Trump during this election process. Indeed for the past eight years we have been praying for grace to rescue us. We cannot stop our prayers now. In the coming fight, to date only the players have been designated - but real victory for our nation remains to be hard taken. The media attacks that the Donald and his administration will weather, I believe, will make the struggle of all other contemporary conservative presidents look like a walk in the park. Our prayers for God's supernatural strength and guidance are imperative and our only hope. Next I have to say that I was amazed - but then, not really - that neither Hillary nor Bill had the class to show up at the gathering that would have celebrated a breathtakingly pyrrhic Clinton victory. All the hapless Clinton workers were fed more empty promises by a tap dancing John Podesta who served as the veil for a most likely enraged Hillary. Those poor folks who were shuffling around and waiting to be placated by Podesta's anemic dismissal had been ridden hard and put away wet. (If you are truly reliant on the left side of the aisle for your happiness, you'd better make yourself comfortable with this sort of disappointment. The reason their pitch so often sounds too good to be true [to those who are truly listening] is because it is an empty lie. Liberal politicians use their constituency as nothing more than the road to achieving their own selfish dreams. True story.) I couldn't help remembering the celebration the Clintons had privately the day following their first presidential victory in November '93. In an interview, Bill related how he and Hillary had laid around their hotel penthouse suite just laughing hysterically and running up a dizzying room service tab. When a wide-smiling Bill related that story, I sadly remembered having read about so many presidents in our history, Democrat and Republican, who got real humble and prayerful when they realized they had been handed the reins of the greatest nation on earth. In hindsight now, it's clear to see that the Clintons esteem the Oval Office tantamount to a lotto win or another serpentine power grab. And after last night we can so easily see that they are, at best, sore losers lacking any sort of grace. Beyond all this, it's downright frightening the more that 'e-mailgate' and its relationship with the Clinton Foundation comes into focus. I have to stop and wonder if whatever disgruntled pay-to-play clientele may now be standing around waiting for a refund. A TON of special-interest PAC and armchair partner money was thrown after the Clinton campaign. And I'm curious if an "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" e-mail went out along with all the sweaty markers that were issued with those deals. Somebody's going to be in a world of hurt after this failure. And I don't think even all the Obamas, Lynchs, Soros or Comeys are going to be able to put that egg back together again. And when we discover how great the breach was of our national security - and precisely who paid to play - that could prove to be some sobering news as well.

Winding things up, I am happy to declare that Trump's victory last night is my greatest reward for every word I've written over the past few years (and a great victory for a very pro-American, Canada Free Press). I believe that if I work real hard and keep my thesaurus handy, I could be another George Will. Much of conservative America, I think, may now feel that he could be replaced quite nicely - by a genuine conservative. I say with all seriousness that my heart almost goes out to the Clintons whose pitch black empire seems to finally be falling apart at the seams. And if that happens, as I pray it does, great will be the fall thereof. Can you, without fainting from the exhilaration, actually imagine all the pink slips that are headed for the people who have comprised the Obama administration?! It will almost compensate for the pain of paying for our golfer-in-chief's lavish inaugurations, vacations, and other innumerable, chronic entertainment bills. But by all means, pray for the busted Clinton family. And there is no humor intended here. They are currently bankrupt and broken in ways I don't ever want to even imagine. With everybody and his dog now running for cover and seeking prosecutorial immunity in the wake of this tsunami, this has to be their darkest hour. Nevertheless I am glad that our president can't pardon people before they are convicted. Yes, I thank God for that. But far more pressing, there is right now a poor man holed up in London that, BY GOD, needs to be liberated! The world owes an apology and a bottomless debt of gratitude to one suffering Julius Assange! For the past four years he has been crucified for the crime of exposing the works of darkness. Over twelve million pounds have been spent in keeping a police blockade in place and tightened around London's Ecuadorian Embassy. We must now reunite that rare and genuine altruist with his hurting family! Give him honorary American citizenship! And while we are at it, we need to find out why the hell a slimy John Kerry would pressure Ecuador into taking away that man's Internet! Enough is enough!!! America has just done its own Brexit on steroids! This, if we do it right, might be a second 1776!! Happy November 9, and God bless America!!! Sincerely yours, Dave Merrick
