Took two massive revolutions to prove that the next president--any president is not sacred and does not have immunity to the wrath of the people--even if he is Al Sisi in or out of uniform

Al-Sisi... the god who lost his Divinity

Cairo,Egypt-When Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi was still wearing his uniform as defense minister, most of the Egyptian newspapers were refusing to publish articles that criticized Al-Sisi or pointed out any of his mistakes or errors. Editors said that they supported Al-Sisi completely—especially in view of the current dangerous times and the war on terror, with the Muslim Brotherhood attacks on the army, police, Copts and even moderate Muslims.
They were allowed to publish articles criticizing the other candidates for the presidency, even though Al-Sisi had not announced his decision to run for the presidency. A few days ago, the very same newspapers—suddenly—started publishing articles highly critical of g Al-Sisi--right after he replaced his uniform for a civilian suit and formally announced his willingness to run for the presidency. Surprised, I asked some colleagues about this sudden change. I found a shocking answer I did not expect. One of them said: “We can speak about him as we want now—he took off his uniform!” These simple words opened my eyes to a new reality already happening in Egypt. The attitude of journalists has already become a widespread and growing position among average Egyptians. Now that Al Sisi has taken off his uniform, the language in speaking about him has changed. He has suddenly lost that aura of sanctity that surrounded him, and has become something like a 'fallen angel', or a god who lost his divinity. People saw him for the first time as an ordinary man.

They found out that he is just another man and he is no longer a 'god' as he was inside his military uniform. I have written before that the Egyptians invented a new god to worship and that they made a new Pharaoh who would make them slaves just like ancient history told us. Reality shows that these slaves worshiped the military uniform, regardless of who was inside it. It seems that the man is no longer Pharaoh or a god nor a messenger, and it turns out that he holds a scepter of wood and a crown of paper. Wherever you open your eyes you find critical writings of the man, on the Internet and on the walls of buildings. Whenever you listen, you can hear the harsh words and sarcastic comments about former Egyptian hero Al-Sisi. People are now divided between loving and hating him, supporting and opposing him. Voices have become louder calling for; another President of Egypt, calls to withdraw the decision of his candidacy, and supporting his rivals, not because they love them, but for the hate of Al-Sisi, and some of those who we thought were his closest associates and his 'priests' are now talking about the weakness of his platform, and that he lives in dreams - or delusions, and that he is not fit to be the President of Egypt at this critical time. Egypt is suffering from huge problems which no one can solve with only the love of people—especially in terms of the economy and security. Others have announced that Al-Sisi has no experience in civilian life that qualifies him to rule and he will fail to solve the accumulated problems of Egypt since the Sadat era. Although Al-Sisi still enjoys huge popularity among Egyptians, especially the middle and lower class, the fact that these folks can finish the presidential race in the first round, with what can be called a “Knockout". There are also many people who have abandoned him to choose other candidates. Al-Sisi has lost a significant proportion of the vote even before the campaign begins—not to mention the prior loss of the Islamists votes, who prefer to give their votes to the devil himself instead of Al-Sisi. Al-Sisi represents a symbol of the elimination of their dreams to the establish the Caliphate and the application of Islamic law. They consider him a murderer, a traitor, a deceiver and dishonest. It is more important now than ever that the Egyptians abandon their old habit of inventing pharaohs, and realize that Al-Sisi is just like any other presidential candidate that they can go out to demonstrate against and oust, just as they did with Mubarak and Morsi if he does not fulfill their dreams and solve their problems. It took two massive revolutions to prove that the next president--any president is not sacred and does not have immunity to the wrath of the people--even if he is Al Sisi in or out of uniform.
