“America-America,words of liberty, words of freedom, a melodious melody, glorious lyrics and sounds,..... a hymn, and a vision of freedom, let's keep it around!
America-America church spirals, that climb up to the heavenly skies. church bells chiming aloud. American flags waving in the breeze…. from border to border, coast to coast and to the ocean seas.
magnificent cities spread across the American plain,.... many so beautiful they're hard to describe and explain. America-America, land of roaring rivers, great lakes, oceans and majestic mountains that soar to the sky
America-America, majestic snow-capped mountains, standing high and regal,..... home and nesting place of our American Eagle, flying high, proud and ever so nimble,.... and so fitting as our nation's symbol.

America-America,a vision, a wonder, the grandest of all canyons, the mighty Mississippi, and Niagara’s mighty roar and thunder,
sounds and sights that sets all patriotic American hearts asunder. America-America, on 9-11 Lady Liberty cried that
 day,.......
she still weeps most every day, thinking to herself:
God and our founders have blessed us with freedom, and it’s, here to stay,
and when she’s thinks our American morale, spirit and mood needs a collective lift  she declares in a clear voice for all to hear:
" our American founders ingrained and instilled in all Americans a spirit and DNA  that makes it impossible for americans to live in fear." America-America, on 9-11 brave men and women of
our military, police, fire, e.m.t and good Samaritans of all nationalities and creeds. bravely responded coming to our defense, some gave of their lives that day, their total efforts on behalf of their fellow citizens were immense. So in closing there is only one thing to say,.....
America-America we know no other *way. * Meaning a Democratic, honorable and just society Copyright Joseph P.Martino 2003 revised and updated 2011
