“Let Go! Let God!”

And, Remember to Dance!

Much of our time today can easily be spent by reading/watching/discussing the second-by-second world events unfolding right in front of our ‘DO-YOU-BELIEVE-THIS!’ eyes.
If you are like me, you also receive ten times the volume of emails than one person should have to read in a day, and pick/choose the ones you will only ‘scan through’ based mostly on the sender’s name. So my rules are: send me a few ‘real bad ones’ and you go directly to the email-purgatory-of-the-unread-deleted. Having said that, I received the email below from a friend that IMHO...😊 was not only worth reading, but was good enough that I wanted to share it with you. This email list came under the heading of “Did You Know” with 43 unrelated items listed. I hereby took the literary license to offer you my truncated version of 25, with my own 2-cents for an intro: As for me, this list of stuff could have been entitled, “Let Go! Let God!” with a special note to the ones in Italics (#7, 10, 11, 25) and Honorable Mention to the ones in Bold/Italics (#6, but even better #16, and then #23).

I chose these last three because (#6) I do wake up every morning and pray for God’s guidance. And, also (#16) pray that I will simply ‘be here’ in five years! Which would, obviously, give me (and hopefully you too) the opportunity to look back on this extremely volatile period in our nation’s history, hopefully with a big smile on my ‘somewhat older face’, and say Thank you Lord, I always knew you were there for us. Amen. 1. According to Albert Einstein, if honey bees were to disappear from earth, humans would be dead within 4 years. 1. You can survive without eating for weeks, but you will only live 11 days without sleeping. 1. People who laugh a lot are healthier than those who don’t. 1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day & while you walk, SMILE. It is the ultimate antidepressant.  1. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. 1. When you wake up in the morning, pray to ask God's guidance for your purpose, today. 1. Try to make at least three people smile each day. 1. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment. 1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 1. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Forgive them for everything. 1. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 1. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. 1. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present. 1. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.  1. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.  1. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'  1. Help the needy, Be generous! Be a 'Giver' not a 'Taker' 1. What other people think of you is none of your business.  1. Time heals everything.  1. However good or bad a situation is; it will change.  1. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.  1. Envy is a waste of time. You already have everything you will ever need.  1. Each night before you go to bed, pray to God and be thankful for what you accomplished, today. 1. Remember, you’re alive and that you are too blessed to be stressed. 1. And, remember to Dance!
