Broadway singer Jennifer Holliday is the latest example of an entertainer strong-armed by the angry leftist mob into canceling plans to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration. Holliday, who voted for Hillary Clinton, expressed excitement about performing at the inaugural concert in an interview with the New York Times Friday afternoon. “I’m singing on the mall for the people,” she said. “I don’t have a dog in this fight—I’m just a singer, and it’s a welcome concert for the people on the mall.”
Singer Marian Anderson, who in 1939 performed a concert at the Lincoln Memorial after being denied permission to sing at Constitution Hall because she was black, was Holliday's inspiration. "I just thought of the history part of it, Holliday explained, "and about singing on the mall where Marian Anderson paved the way for me to sing as a black American. Holliday was predictably attacked by crazed black Twitter users for reaching across the aisle, branded a "coon and an "uncle Tom. This is what happens to famous blacks when they deviate from the leftist herd.

Some examples:

Some of the people, by the way, are the same bleeding heart liberals who are indifferent when celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and BeyoncÈ perform before murderous Third World dictators. Liberals not only accused Holliday of being a traitor to her race, but claimed she was betraying the LGBQT community. Kevin Fallon, columnist for the leftist rag Daily Beast, said news that Holliday intended to perform at the inauguration felt like a "betrayal, was "heartbreaking, and defied "everything she and her fans have supported throughout her career.

Fallon's scathing critique and the attacks from her gay fan base apparently hit Holliday hard. Less than 24 hours after her interview with the Times, a newly-enlightened Holliday ate her words. Caving to this mobocratic intimidation, the singer wrote an open letter Saturday morning addressed to "My beloved LGBT Community. Like a Khmer Rouge prisoner denouncing herself in front of a captive audience, she apologized to her fans for being "uneducated on the issues that affect every American. "Regretfully, I did not take into consideration that my performing for the concert would actually instead be taken as a political act against my own personal beliefs and be mistaken for support for Donald Trump and Mike Pence, she wrote. "Please know that I HEAR YOU and I feel your pain. The LGBT Community was mostly responsible for birthing my career and I am deeply indebted to you & You have loved me faithfully and unconditionally and for so many years you provided me with work even though my star had long since faded. Fallon and members of the gay community gloated over bending Holliday to their will. For example:

To assuage her rabid fan base and restore her street cred as a Democrat, Holliday then attacked Trump, slamming the president-elect over comments he made about Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.). Lewis recently said that he does not see Trump as "a legitimate president. Trump shot back, calling the congressman "[a] ll talk, talk, talk--no action or results and imploring him to spend more time fixing his "crime infested Atlanta district. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Holliday did her best to restore her reputation with the Trump-hating crowd. "How could [Trump] say this to a man who sacrificed so much? Not just for African-Americans but just for America, so that America could be better, she said of Trump’s tweets about Lewis. "I was like, ‘Is he serious by saying that he's ‘all talk and no action’?’ "He's already taken the action, the ultimate action, his blood on the bridge. It's like, ‘Really?'” she said. "I thought that was just very disrespectful and an insult to every person. It's a shame that so many Hollywood types have no backbone to stand up for themselves and are painfully ignorant of facts.

To claim Trump is hostile to the LGBTQ community is ridiculous.Trump has been in the media spotlight since the early 1980s and was a member in good standing of the Democrat cultural machine for decades. He had a show on NBC, a mainstay of the Left, in addition to being a generous contributor to many Democrats. Not one person ever accused him of being racist or an "-ophobe until he ran for president as a Republican. In reality, Trump will be the most pro-gay Republican president in American history. In the eyes of some, Trump is too sympathetic to the LGBTQ agenda, which has made more than a few conservative activists uncomfortable with his newfound dominance of the party. His views on gay rights and gay people, distinguish him in varying degrees from previous Republican standard-bearers. He was first invited to CPAC by GOProud, a gay conservatives group in 2011. He addressed gay voters directly during his Republican nomination acceptance speech. Trump gave the LGBTQ community assurances during his acceptance speech that he would prioritize keeping them safe, and did so regularly on the campaign trail following the Pulse nightclub terrorist attack the month before. "As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology. Believe me, Trump said. Taking a jab at his own party for not always warming to the gay rights cause, he added, "And I have to say as a Republican it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said. Thank you. He invited Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel to speak at the Republican National Convention on the main stage during primetime. This made Thiel the first openly gay man ever to address a national GOP nominating convention. He proudly waved the rainbow flag at a rally in Colorado before the election. Putting him at odds with most Republicans in North Carolina, Trump voiced opposition to a North Carolina law that prohibits people from using public bathrooms that do not correspond to their biological sex at the time of birth. Transgender people should "use the bathroom they feel is appropriate, Trump declared last April. When asked if Bruce — now Caitlyn — Jenner could use the ladies room at Trump Tower, without hesitation Trump responded “she can use any bathroom she likes.” The mob of thugs that is the liberal-progressive Left doesn't actually care what Trump or any Republican will do to better the lives of gays or minorities or the poor. They don't care about equality; they want revenge. What we’re seeing right now is really what they’re like when they lose petulant, shrieking, crying, ugly, divisive, whiners who stamp their feet and break things. They say they are champions of the poor and minorities, yet when comedian and Hillary Clinton supporter Steve Harvey, who has won multiple NAACP Image Awards, met with Trump on Friday to discuss the problems plaguing inner cities, social justice warriors called him every racist epithet you can think of. A photo posted to Instagram by Rapper Willie D that depicts Harvey as a "coon went viral Saturday night:

Here are some more insults hurled at Harvey via social media:

"Tolerant left-wingers pretend to be champions of immigrants and the disabled, yet they sent opera star Andrea Bocelli, a blind foreigner, death threats upon learning that he may perform at Trump's inauguration. They claim to champion the rights of gay people, but they had no objections to their scandal-plagued candidate Hillary Clinton taking money from countries that deny women rights and mercilessly throw homosexuals off rooftops. Yet these people call Donald Trump a bully.
