Like the recurring nightmare that haunts your dreams, Barack Obama is back.
And ready or not, civil society must prepare for an era of ‘The Protest’ even worse than the ones already taking place to delegitimize the Donald Trump presidency.
Protagonist in a story that unfortunately never ends, the seriously election-embittered Obama literally forces himself upon the Western World—in or out of office.
In other words, the same community organizer ex-president, who once invoked the phrase “bringing a knife to a gun fight” during his 2008 presidential campaign against Senator John McCain, has come catapulting back from the State of Sulk.
The American electorate is NOT ALLOWED to have a non-progressive left president in the White house, big Election Day victory not withstanding. Thousands of shivs heading toward a back near you any day now are about to prove it.
Obama is coming out of exile—with a vengeance—said to be supported by a stealth army of some 30,000 foot soldiers, and that’s not even counting the thousands of White House and Government insiders waiting to join his army.
Protests to date will pale by comparison to Obama’s new Protest Era called “Getting Even!”
Bit players Meryl Streep, Rosie O’Donnell, Michael Moore et al were merely holding down the fort until the community organizer’s inevitable return.
Obama’s return is a coup d’etat in itself, made possible by a myriad of propaganda and public distractions.
While many may have assumed Obama was learning kite surfing at billionaire Sir Richard Branson’s private Caribbean island, the missing leader of the pack was scheming behind the scenes to sabotage Trump’s presidency.
“When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House. (NY Post, Feb. 11, 2017)
“In what’s shaping up to be a highly unusual post-presidency, Obama isn’t just staying behind in Washington. He’s working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration and its popular “America First” agenda.
“He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country.”
OFA—one of only two groups listed on Obama’s post-presidential website—still led by Obama former 2012 campaign manager Jim Messina and former White House aide Jon Carson as co-chairmen, says 20,000 people have used their tool to call senators’ offices to urge them not to repeal Obamacare and says one million supporters have already taken action with OFA.
“Since Donald Trump’s election, this little-known but well-funded protesting arm has beefed up staff and ramped up recruitment of young liberal activists, declaring on its website, “We’re not backing down.” Determined to salvage Obama’s legacy,”it’s drawing battle lines on immigration, ObamaCare, race relations and climate change. (NY Post)
“Obama is intimately involved in OFA operations and even tweets from the group’s account. In fact, he gave marching orders to OFA foot soldiers following Trump’s upset victory.
“It is fine for everybody to feel stressed, sad, discouraged,” he said in a conference call from the White House. “But get over it.” He demanded they “move forward to protect what we’ve accomplished.”
“Now is the time for some organizing,” he said. “So don’t mope.”
“Far from sulking, OFA activists helped organize anti-Trump marches across US cities, some of which turned into riots. After Trump issued a temporary ban on immigration from seven terror-prone Muslim nations, the demonstrators jammed airports, chanting: “No ban, no wall, sanctuary for all!
“Run by old Obama aides and campaign workers, federal tax records show “nonpartisan” OFA marshals 32,525 volunteers nationwide. Registered as a 501(c)(4), it doesn’t have to disclose its donors, but they’ve been generous. OFA has raised more than $40 million in contributions and grants since evolving from Obama’s campaign organization Obama for America in 2013.
“OFA, in IRS filings, says it trains young activists to develop “organizing skills.” Armed with Obama’s 2012 campaign database, OFA plans to get out the vote for Democratic candidates it’s grooming to win back Congress and erect a wall of resistance to Trump at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.
“It will be aided in that effort by the Obama Foundation, run by Obama’s former political director, and the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, launched last month by Obama pal Eric Holder to end what he and Obama call GOP “gerrymandering” of congressional districts.
“Obama will be overseeing it all from a shadow White House located within two miles of Trump. It features a mansion, which he’s fortifying with construction of a tall brick perimeter, and a nearby taxpayer-funded office with his own chief of staff and press secretary. Michelle Obama will also open an office there, along with the Obama Foundation.
“Critical to the fight is rebuilding the ravaged Democrat Party. Obama hopes to install his former civil-rights chief Tom Perez at the helm of the Democratic National Committee.
“Perez is running for the vacant DNC chairmanship, vowing “It’s time to organize and fight . . . We must stand up to protect President Obama’s accomplishments;” while also promising, “We’re going to build the strongest grass-roots organizing force this country has ever seen.”
“The 55-year-old Obama is not content to go quietly into the night like other ex-presidents.
“You’re going to see me early next year,” he said after the election, “and we’re going to be in a position where we can start cooking up all kinds of great stuff.”
“Added the ex-president: “Point is, I’m still fired up and ready to go.”
While activists waited for Obama’s longed-for return, the world stage has been taken over by The Protest, not a single one of them spontaneous or grassroots. All players are now protesters, their screams of outrage getting more demanding and louder by day.
Hatred of Donald Trump has given malcontent activism its reason for living.
Starting with entertainment celebrities, whose every gathering is covered by the mainstream media, it is spreading like a raging wildfire that no fire crew knows how to douse.
In a testimony to the sweeping propaganda of the far left, anyone in any nation of the world gets to smear President Donald Trump and his family.
The categorically untrue and vile charge ‘Trump is attracted to his daughter’ made by actress Ashley Judd at the Women’s March in Washington on Jan. 21, made it all the way over to Edinburgh this weekend on a sign carried in the ‘Scotland Against Trump’ protest.
Thousands took to the streets of Edinburgh to have their say against Donald Trump in Scottish accents.
Blocked from getting to the American Consulate by police, the large crowd made its way to the Scottish Parliament. They weren’t protesting against the rising cost of food or fuel; against the increasing control of the European Union, or even against any of their own self-serving politicians.
They were protesting against the 45th president of the USA, an ocean away.
Any M.O. will do for calling a paid protest these days.
For Edinburgh it was because Trump’s mother, Mary Anne hailed from the Highlands.
In a statement, ‘Scotland Against Trump’ said:
“Trump is the apex of an insurgency of an international far-right.
“We will resist. We are the majority. We are ready to make our voices heard.”
The progressive left in America, desperate to regain ground and face since the election of Donald Trump—something mainstream media polls promised would never happen—have set off a firestorm, worldwide.
Now anyone with the flimsiest of reasons is a screeching street protester. The life of a street protestor offers more adventure and attention than sitting at home watching the telly.
Unbridled retaliation for what happened on November 8, 2016 is becoming more brutal by day.
Temper tantrums that followed Trump’s election never ended. Longterm friendships have been scuttled in spite, families torn apart, Safe Spaces that never existed as protection against mass murders and terrorism, created on college and university campuses.
School children wearing ‘Make America Great Again’ baseball caps have been ordered off of school buses, suspended from the same schools where their attackers have been welcomed back.
The scene gets uglier and is more fraught with danger by day.
Being booted out of a third term in office courtesy of Hillary Clinton’s humiliating election defeat, Barack Obama’s hatred of America was cruelly planned as “here to stay”.
Patience, strength and prayer will be needed to keep President Trump safe from any of the community organizer’s hidden boobytraps. Driven by an undying hatred of America, he had eight long years and ‘insider’ help to plant them.
The only hope in getting rid of an ex-president community organizer who is forcing himself upon We the People is to ensure that the new administration FORCES the rule of law on HIM.
Meanwhile, we should all be calling fervently on the Almighty to “Deliver us from evil”.
