Does he still think he'll cause another 9/11?

Behind closed doors, Lindsey Graham urges GOP to line up behind Trump

Lindsey Graham can't stand Donald Trump. He famously called the real estate mogul turned presidential candidate a “race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot” and has happily announced his refusal to support Trump in the General. As Graham put it, he “cannot in good conscience support Donald Trump because I do not believe he is a reliable Republican conservative nor has he displayed the judgment and temperament to serve as Commander in Chief.” ...And if there's one thing we know about Lindsey Graham, he's nothing if not a man who sticks to his deeply-held convictions. Right?
Wrong.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of Donald Trump's fiercest critics, is now calling on Republicans to support their presumptive nominee. Graham urged GOP donors at a private fundraiser Saturday in Florida to unite behind Trump's campaign and stressed the importance of keeping likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton from the White House. The fundraiser was hosted by former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal Al Hoffman, a former Republican National Committee finance chairman who also co-chaired Sen. John McCain's 2008 presidential bid. "He did say that we need to get behind him," Teresa Dailey, a prominent Florida Republican fundraiser who attended the private event, told CNN on Sunday.
Wow!

That's quite a turnaround for everyone's favorite RINO squish! Obviously, a shift like this couldn't be a simple political move. Something massive must have occurred to cause such a seismic change of heart. Right? Wrong again. All it took was a quick phone call.
Graham has been among Trump's most vocal and fiercest critics but has warmed to the New York real estate mogul since the two spoke over the phone earlier this month. Graham described the call as a "cordial, pleasant phone conversation" and said the two discussed national security threats, including ISIS. "My criticism has been wide and it's been deep, but we did have a good conversation. He asked good questions,"
For the record, here's Lindsey Graham - just three weeks ago - suggesting that Trump's polling is as bad as Satan's, that the party isn't lining up behind Trump, that Trump is completely unelectable, and that Trump's extreme isolationism will cause another 9/11. Impressive, no? That must have been one hell of a phone call.... We'd like to congratulate Lindsey Graham on finally picking a side.
