The insistence to take down a nativity scene or other references to Christianity will not negate the fact that a Savior died for all mankind

Behold His face this Christmas

“If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”- Mark 8:38, Luke 9:26 (words of Jesus Christ in the Gospels)
It is a special time of year when we worship a Savior who came to become a bridge for mankind to reach Almighty God. Christmas is the time of year when we worship CHRIST and are mindful of His miracle birth. Every year, absurdity abounds in the continued quest for atheists and those on the left to remove any mention of the reason why we celebrate Christmas; why we give gifts to each other this year. Let me remind everyone: Jesus Christ IS the greatest gift this earth has ever received! He came as a baby in a manger the first time, but the Second Coming will be much fierce! I would much rather see His love for me pour out than His wrath because of hardened hearts that not only thumbs its nose in the face of the Creator, but continues in the path of sin and destruction. “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.”-Matthew 24:30, Revelation 1:7

The atheist heart wants to shun Him, wants to remove all remembrance or reference to Jesus Christ in our society. This is the same Jesus who reached out to the lost and hurting while He walked the earth. Jesus who still today, asks all who are heavy burdened, come to Me, I’ll give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Yet they keep shunning Him and want others to do the same. It’s a constant fight with our traditions coming under fire, not only during other seasons of the year, but especially at Christmastime. Nativity Scenes that stand in public irk some. Christmas trees even. The insistence to take down a nativity scene or other references to Christianity will not negate the fact that a Savior died for all mankind, no matter if a person turns his back on Jesus Christ’s offering of eternal life with Him. The Lord Jesus has seen countless times when many in this nation have sought to remove any mention of His name from the public square and has continued in His grace to let it slide hoping all will come to repentance. God is a gentleman, and He steps back as this nation has gone the opposite direction from Him, for a long time might I add. The opposite direction leads to danger. It is a place that is far from His protecting hand. Still, the danger has eluded this nation, as His love has covered America. However, how much longer will the Lord Jesus Christ tolerate not only blatant and rampant sin, but hearts that are stone cold, hostile, and indifferent to Him…hearts that refuse His offer of salvation and eternal life? Certainly, hearts that do not know the love of Jesus Christ should not affect the 84% of Christians in America who DO believe in Jesus, our loving Savior. We do not push our beliefs on anyone to believe as we do, but during this time of year, it is uplifting to know that we have hope in Christ Jesus. It is the Gospel, or “good news” Christians share with others, and it’s up to others whether or not they believe it. In America, we share our faith and exhibit it, live it, BELIEVE it. It should bring joy to all who hear. The Christmas story is a story that brings joy to the soul. Many have faced hardships this year. Many have been down on their luck. Hope is there. Let’s not turn from it or hinder others from believing. Behold His face this Christmas; seek His face this Christmas instead of running, or hiding from His face. His mercy, love, and grace still extends to all mankind, heed the call.
