Muslim migrants trickling in over the unprotected U.S. border to Canada are much more savvy than Liberals on the run from The Donald that urban legend jokes Canadian farmers could be finding in their barns.
The Liberals hide out with the farm animals in the barn. Somalian migrants fleeing the U.S. head for the tiny town of Emerson-Franklin, Manitoba’s closest bar, the Emerson Hotel , where bartender Wayne Pfiel says they’ve been shucking off their winter boots and socks in the lobby. Those who venture into the bar are offered hot coffee and food. Though the town draws crowds for weekend skidoo races, Muslim migrants are about the most exciting thing you’ll ever see in Emerson-Fanklin, population 700, as attested to by reporters who have been hitting the town for the last month. “They (the migrants ) have been coming in in small groups of three or four, and five or six, all men,” Pfiel told Canada Free Press in a telephone interview this evening. “One or two have walked in with a woman, but mostly they leave the women and children out front when they come to the bar.” “They’re no trouble,” Pfiel said, adding that some of the mostly Somalian migrants speak English.

The real deal, handfuls, not truckloads of border jumpers of migrants heading in to he Emerson Hotel are a far cry from the imaginary ones said to be taking refuge in Canadian barns. “The flood of Trump-fearing American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week. (ZeroHedge Nov. 9 2016)
“The election of Republican Donald Trump is prompting an exodus among left-leaning Americans who fear they’ll soon be required to hunt, pray, pay taxes, and live according to the Constitution. “Canadian border residents say it’s not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, liberal arts majors  global-warming activists, and “green” energy proponents crossing their fields at night. “I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn,” said southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota.   “He was cold, exhausted and hungry, and begged me for a latte and some free-range chicken.  When I said I didn’t have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?” “In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields, but they just stuck their fingers in their ears and kept coming.”

In the case of winter-lonely Emerson-Franklin, the refugees were given shelter at the town hall, and the local border services agency will rent the hall if needed in the future. “The Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council, Manitoba's largest refugee resettlement agency, provided pillows blankets, first-aid supplies, and other necessities. (AOL, Feb. 12, 2017)
“In the months following the U.S. election, there's been a spike in the number of refugees crossing the border, particularly from Ghana and Somalia, one of the seven countries in Trump's "Muslim ban." They risk their lives under freezing temperatures to cross the border into Canada and they often arrive frostbitten and hungry.”
Note that the first Canadian bar from the U.S. border is roughly 100 metres away. (For you Americans, that’s 110 yards).
“Pfiel said that since he started working three years ago at the Emerson Hotel, which is the first stop for many refugees after crossing the border, at least 25 of the 40 border jumpers he's met came in the months after the U.S. election. "They're cold. They're wearing their winter boots and their winter gear, but they're cold," Pfiel told Metro News. "They end up taking their boots and socks off right in the lobby or else I'll let them in the bar and offer them a coffee and something to eat.” "In response to Trump's "Muslim ban", Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Twitter last month that "those fleeing persecution, terror & war" are welcome in Canada. "To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada So far the Canadian influx of migrants from Trump’s temporary travel ban has only been a trickle.
Nor has there been any sign of Rosie O’Donnell, Alec Baldwin, Barbra Streisand et al who had threatened to move to the Great White North if Trump was elected. Guess their flight plans originated from Fake News.
