CBS' Rose to Robby Mook: How can Hillary fix 'trust' numbers in a debate, if she couldn't do so in a lifetime?

One of Hillary's biggest electoral problems is the fact that voters can spot a pathological liar. Allegedly, the percentage of people who feel she's "honest and trustworthy" hovers somewhere in the low 30's. However, I've never met anyone - of any political persuasion - who was stupid enough to believe a word out of her mouth. So, I suspect that number is inflated by hardcore Dems who refuse to speak ill of their once and future queen. They'll smile and tell you how wonderful she is but, in their heart of hearts, they know she looks at "telling the truth" the way a 3-year-old looks at a plate of liver. So, CBS anchor Charlie Rose ask Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook how Hillary could possibly "change the trust dynamic in one debate when, in fact, she hasn't been able to do it over a lifetime."
It's a good question and, obviously, Mook does a little dodge to avoid answering it. That's because the short answer is: "This isn't something she can change." Hillary's been in in the political spotlight for decades now. She spent the entirety of that time telling one lie or another. That's left her in a position where she's built lies atop of lies atop of lies. There's no way to turn her trust numbers around, because to do so would require the admission of self-incriminating truths and the unravelling of her own false narrative. Since she'll never do that, the numbers are "baked in." Mrs. Clinton is a liar. We all know it. Nothing she says or does can reverse that perception, because it's 100% accurate.
