Laments alleged 'new tactic' of delays and obstruction

Chuck Schumer says a President 'deserves his choices' for cabinet positions ...in 2009, that is

Chuck Schumer is now the official king of obstruction. He's vowed to fight, delay, withhold, and complicate every single Trump nomination and confirmation for the entirety of the President's four-year term. So far, he hasn't actually stopped any of Trump's picks, but he and his ilk sure do enjoy gumming up the system.
Chuck Schumer thinks this sort of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. ...Or, at least he used to. When a Democrat is in the White House, Schumer believes that his picks are sacrosanct. No one should try to delay them, because it's common knowledge that a President "deserves his choices" when it comes to selecting a cabinet. Take it away, Chuckie... We can't imagine what changed Schumer's mind on this but, fortunately, Harry Reid made his newfound love of obstruction easy to ignore.
