Crimes of Watergate Weak Compared to Democrat Surveillance

The past two weeks of news has recently been overshadowed by the showdown in Washington over the nomination of Neil Gorsuch to become the next justice of the Supreme Court as that battle is supreme. It represents one of the most bitter pills that the Democrats would have to swallow if the Republicans have the will to ram through his appointment. But, while in power, the Democrats did not hesitate to ram many things down the throats of the American people. Yet, it is questionable whether GOP leadership will have the courage to follow the same path. This is why the hot news of last two weeks is important now. In the past couple of weeks the main focus of attention had been Rep. Devin Nunes (CA), Republican chairman of the House committee investigating allegations of Putin’s Russian interference into the 2016 presidential election. Nunes had earned the collective wrath of Democrats and their media minions, and they attacked him in unison - demanding he step down as chairman of the committee. Especially, Senator Chuck Schumer (NY), who made a public display of insisting Nunes step down as the chair of the Intelligence Committee. This is about as ironic as a criminal demanding a detective cease investigating crimes.
It is now the time the Republicans take a strong stance of defiance in order to initiate the drainage of the swamp of corruption that exists in Washington, D.C. “We the People” had elected a president and congressmen and women in 2016 that citizens trusted to clean up the incredible corruption that has infested America for far too long. It is obvious President Donald Trump cannot drain the swamp without the help of loyal members of Congress. And it should be clear that loyalty is owed to the Republic, and not any one man - and it appears Trump knows this. The strong show of loyalty started with Rep. Trey Gowdy (S.C.) who defended Chairman Nunes. On a Fox News program on March 29th, Gowdy stood by Nunes, and explained the representative from California had “not done anything wrong in his efforts to investigate allegations that the previous administration spied on the Trump campaign.” It is very likely Trey Gowdy has seen enough of the corruption with the previous Obama Administration as he was leading the way into the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s leaks through her private e-mail server. In a powerful statement, Gowdy expressed what other Christian and Conservative Republicans should be united with:
“I just love it when Senator Schumer gives Republicans advice on what we ought to do. Devin is doing exactly what the chairman ought to do. When you have a source that has information, you handle that information safely, securely. Which is exactly what he did. I wish Senator Schumer and some of the other Democrats would be more interested in the authenticity and the reliability of the underlying data and not the means by which it was acquired.

They like to tell the GOP which presidential candidates they “fear the most.” This usually ends up with Republicans running someone like John McCain or Jeb Bush. They like to offer “helpful” strategy suggestions which, for the last ten years, have been nothing but pathways to conservative failure. They enjoy telling the RNC what it should do “for the good of the two-party system,” and that advice always boils down to “don’t fight, roll over, and give us what we want.”
Maybe this strong and substantial stance could encourage other sensible and serious senators and representatives to cease their toleration of the opposition party dictating demands to them. Additionally, it must be clear that Trump is not on trial, but the mood of the Democrat manipulated MSM is one of frenzy and rabid-like reaction to anything they could use to tie Trump or Trump officials to the charade of Russian interference in the U.S. elections. On the contrary, however, the Democrats should be on trial for crimes against the people of the United States as well as other nations. Such crimes are many as citizens have witnessed a number of criminals operating from Washington in the past few years. And although no real evidence has been brought forth regarding the alleged collusion with regard to Trump election officials and Russians, plenty of real evidence has been brought to light about former President Obama’s efforts to monitor Trump’s campaign for the express purpose to have a significant influence over the outcome of the election. If this was wrong for Nixon to do -- it was wrong for Obama to do. Nixon’s involvement in the bugging of the Democrats’ National Headquarters inside the Watergate building was the focus of the MSM in the early 1970s, and led to Nixon’s own undoing for his complicity in the entire operation of “spying” on the “Democratic” Party in the 1972 election. What is now coming more evident is that the indirect surveillance of Trump’s campaign officials during the 2016 campaign is much worse.

Not only had Obama made previous statements about how he did not believe in “spying” on the American people. It is likely he initiated it. The mounting evidence of incidental spying on American citizens did occur. Intelligence gathering and eventual “unmasking” of those who were being watched has been revealed. Nunes’ presentation of this information to President Trump was what angered the Democrat leaders, but such a disingenuous display of concern over someone doing the right thing. Democrats were caught, and caught doing what they have been recently accusing the Russians of doing! More tragically, the deeper this drama unravels, the more interesting it is that the MSM is quiet about such injustice. At the time of Watergate, the MSM were overly relentless in their pursuit of the truth - to get to the bottom of wrongdoing. Silence expresses a great deal about the genuine relevance of the contemporary MSM. Why should it be acceptable for Obama to spy on Americans - no matter who they are, but especially opposition politicians? Why should it be acceptable for the Democrats and Obama to destabilize other nations’ elections (overtly, as well as covertly)? Why does the MSM attempt to ignore this information at the very least, and why does the MSM attempt to cover it up by the very most in their handling these revelations? If the MSM is truly concerned over meddling in the internal elections of any nation, the time is now for journalists with a conscience and those within the “Democratic Party” who truly see what is happening within their Party to stop covering for the crimes of Democrat leaders. It is time former President Obama stood trial for meddling in the election in 2016, as well as in the affairs of several nations - specifically allowing the American people’s money to be spent in such an insidious manner, and specifically initiating efforts to defeat Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2015, and other alleged efforts of meddling in other people’s internal elections. If there were criminal activity, Democrats should be held accountable. Such a precedent has gone far enough.
