Fundamentally Change America whether the American people like it or not

Dem's Double Down

The question many are asking after Scott Brown's amazing 5 percentage point upset victory for the Massachusetts Senate seat is what will the Democrats do now? The simple answer is to "Double Down."
Logic would dictate Democrats would move to the middle with the loss of Governor seats in Virginia, New Jersey and now a landslide victory in Massachusetts. When Bill Clinton faced huge losses in the 1994 midterm elections he moved to the middle but he was a normal Democrat. What we are talking about are progressives which have taken over the Democratic party. President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed lead this progressive movement. Not only do they truly believe their far left ideals are right for the country, they also realize it could be decades before they will have such majorities in both houses of Congress as well as the presidency. In other words, they are willing to risk everything to "Fundamentally Change America" whether the American people like it or not. Last night, Juan William's told Bill O'Reilly that President Obama would double down on both his agenda and most particularly his health care reform. Saul Alinsky who wrote "Rules for Radicals" says when the times get tough you step on the accelerator. Democratic pundits along with MSNBC commentators firmly believe this wasn't a referendum on their bad policies but rather the lack of doing it quick enough. Yep, that is how disconnected they are with the American People. These elites believe they know what is best for an electorate that obviously doesn't know what is in their best interest.

What to expect? There will be a major internal struggle for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party. The Blue Dog Democrats realize they are looking at a massive defeat in the 2010 elections without a move to the middle. They are correctly reading the American electorate. However, expect Reed, Pelosi and the Obama administration to pressure the Blue Dog Democrats to pass their health care bill. Expect them to "Double Down" and push even hard for their agenda. Expect them to use all forms of pressure and coercion to keep the Blue Dog's in line. Some additional progressive actions will include the following:
  • Attempts to have the government take over more of the private sector in the name of too big to fail or for the good of the American people.
  • Continue to put our country's security at risk with weakening our CIA, FBI and military but giving Constitutional rights to Islamic Radicals.
  • Weaken our economy with villainizing our business community and passing ever increasing entitlement programs.
  • Pushing Amnesty for Illegal Alien's since they vote Democratic in larger percentages.
  • Using the 2010 Census to stack the voting deck with such things as using statistical sampling instead of actual counts.
  • Creating a national voter registration where people are automatically registered from various government databases. This of course will be ripe for corruption.
  • Free speech will be attacked. Expect Net Neutrality rules on the internet and attacks on talk radio. Even this week the White House has begun attacking FOX news for not being a legitimate news organization.
