Impeach Derrick Watson. If ever a man needed to be removed from office, it's this guy

Derrick Watson is at it again: Hawaii-based U.S. judge thinks he’s president, once more blocks Trump

This is why, for all his flaws, Donald Trump is worth all the trouble if he can reshape the federal judiciary. The political left cares nothing for the rule of law, and that goes for the judicial left as well. When they can’t win in the legislative realm, they run and find a Democrat judge who will come up with a pretext, however flimsy, for striking down duly established laws and perfectly constitutional executive actions.

Nowhere has this been more true than with President Trump’s attempts to bolster national security with travel restrictions from countries with terrorist ties, and no one has been a greater offender than Hawaii-based federal judge Derrick Watson.

Today, Watson did it again

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson granted Hawaii’s request to temporarily block the policy that was to be implemented starting early Wednesday. He found Trump’s executive order “suffers from precisely the same maladies as its predecessor.”

The judge, appointed by former President Barack Obama, said the new restrictions ignore a federal appeals court ruling that found President Donald Trump’s previous ban exceeds the scope of his authority. The latest version “plainly discriminates based on nationality in the manner that the 9th Circuit has found antithetical to ... the founding principles of this nation,” Watson wrote.

The Trump administration in September announced the restrictions affecting citizens of Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen—and some Venezuelan government officials and their families.

The government has said the new policy was based on an objective assessment of each country’s security situation and willingness to share information with the U.S.

Hawaii argued in court documents that the updated ban is a continuation of Trump’s “promise to exclude Muslims from the United States” despite the addition of two non-majority Muslim countries.

Bolshevik.

The Trump Administration anticipated this claim and spelled out in exhaustive detail how statute empowers the president to take this action. Judge Watson doesn’t care. Every time President Trump establishes a policy on this matter, the left will run to Derrick Watson’s courtroom, and he will strike the action down regardless of how lawful or constitutional it is.

Because that’s his job. Doing for Democrats what they can’t do for themselves by winning at the ballot box. He is shameless. He is relentless. He does not care. The man exceeds his own authority on a routine basis while falsely accusing President Trump of doing the same. He’s not even making a serious show of taking the law seriously here.

The left knows that too, which is why he’s their go-to judge on this case every time.

Federal judges can be impeached for violation of their oath of office. Derrick Watson took an oath to uphold the Constitution, and oath he routinely violates by ignorning the law and striking down these legal orders.

Impeach Derrick Watson. If ever a man needed to be removed from office, it’s this guy.
