Environmentalism and Imperialism / What’s the Difference?

With all the well-funded control schemes and emotional manipulation tricks that the environmentalists use to absorb and take land from us all, it’s a thrill when normal folks find their voice, focus it and demonstrate their very real power to stop and change things. If you wonder what kind of control the Corp/Government and environmental people want look at the map found on landrights.org that shows vividly what the House HR 2421 Clean Water Act is trying to control. It’s a national takeover. The dark side of the map represents all the land they want to take over, 26 million acres. Do you get it?

On the good news side, recently the Colf family, a ranch family who has farmed on the Columbia River in Washington, since 1870 won a long, expensive and nightmarish fight with the Corp. and those in leadership. The problem stemmed from an over reaching Corp. and Governor who decided that the Colf family land was what they wanted and needed to augment state and federal, over the top laws and regulations that require for every acre that the Corp. messed up in their dredging project, they have to buy 12 more acres and turn them into ‘wet lands’. (one of the many obsessive/compulsive terms used by the environmentalists). The facts, when investigated, revealed that many land owners up and down the Columbia would have sold various chunks of their land to appease the ‘wetlands’ idiot laws, so there shouldn’t have been a problem ever over the 9 years of digging up and down the 160 mile river. However, much is the case with distracted, lazy or misguided power # in Government jobs, the Corps, couldn’t be bothered with the land that could be easily used, the folks who wanted to have their land used and sold, they instead hyper focused on the Colf family farm. The only small problem was that the Colf’s never wanted to sell anything on their farm! They were threatened with Eminent Domain, almost from the beginning of the negotiations. Pay attention folks! This whole nightmare reversed itself, decency, common sense and the Colf family’s land rights prevailed because of YOU. On June 8th I wrote an article on the facts of this case as shared with me by American Land Association Director Chuck Cushman. The phone number was there for you and YOU responded. Apparently the calls were so many and pressure so great on the Governor that she pushed the Corp. hard to solve the problem and back off the Colfs. You showed us all just how POWERFUL you can be when we focus our efforts on protecting our freedoms, decency and law!! The truth is Governors, politicians in general and the Corp. Don’t like constant pressure i.e. faxes, calls and media attention. Now, the congress is going home and breaking but nasty attempts shuffling through congress continue and will pick up again the moment the Politicians get back. You are needed again, NOW. When your Representative gets home in your district, call their state office and find out the speaking schedule. Talk to them and tell them to vote NO on HR 2421, S 1870 and the Omnibus bill S 3213. The Omnibus bill is a bill from hell containing 90 bills, hundreds of pages long and no doubt not even read by most of the politicians. If they get this through, the Corps. would control 26 million acres! They are using the manipulative strategy of sneaking this in with 89 other bills, hoping you don’t notice and the politicians concerned about land rights won’t read it all.
