Feds: Hillary personally wrote and sent 104 e-mails containing classified information

I often feel like I'm one of many people who just keep playing a completely absurd game with Hillary Clinton. It's start with her making a completely absurd claim: In four years as Secretary of State, she neither sent nor received a single e-mail that contained classified information. That's like the CFO of your company claiming he never sent or received an e-mail that had numbers in it. It's that absurd. Yet this is Hillary Clinton and she learned to lie from the master, whose mantra is "Deny, deny, deny!" Of course, he was talking about his having cheated on her with a 21-year-old intern at the time, but what does she care when her only priority is winning the presidency for herself. If it works, hey. Do it. So she repeats this completely absurd lie over and over, prompting people like me to seize on every piece of information that further hammers home what a liar she is. And there is a lot of that information. And every time we do, she just repeats the lie. She might as well be saying "nuh uh!" for as much as this is shedding light on anything, but she doesn't care because if she keeps denying then her media protectors can keep presenting the story as if it's a matter of one-party-says-this-and-another-party-says-that-and-who-knows, rather than acknowledging the obvious truth that thousands of e-mails containing classified information were put at risk as they traveled through Hillary's non-secure homebrew server.
And now we find out the latest: Contrary to her recent attempts to blame the people who were sending her classified information (you know, the classified information that didn't exist?), Hillary herself actually wrote at least 104 e-mails containing classified information, again, using this completely non-secure schlock server. And who is it that says this is true? Why it's the government itself that says so:
Hillary Clinton wrote 104 emails that she sent using her private server while secretary of state that the government has since said contain classified information, according to a new Washington Post analysis of Clinton’s publicly released correspondence. The finding is the first accounting of the Democratic presidential front-runner’s personal role in placing information now considered sensitive into insecure email during her State Department tenure. Clinton’s authorship of dozens of emails now considered classified could complicate her efforts to argue that she never put government secrets at risk. In roughly three-quarters of those cases, officials have determined that material Clinton herself wrote in the body of email messages is classified. Clinton sometimes initiated the conversations but more often replied to aides or other officials with brief reactions to ongoing discussions.

Now the story also goes on to say that the use of private, non-secure e-mail to transmit classified information was rampant among government employees, and you can bet Hillary's people will try to use this as a defense of her. But that's a crock for a number of reasons. First, if something's illegal, it's illegal. "Everyone does it" is not a defense for anyone, but especially not for a cabinet-level official who's supposed to be a leader and one of those who makes sure the law is followed. If everyone was doing it, that's merely a further indictment of her because she was the one who was supposed to make sure people were following the rules. Instead, she was letting everyone flout the rules while she herself was the bigger flouter of them all. Second, it's one thing to have a government e-mail account but use your secondary private one instead. That's a problem to be sure. But it's another thing entirely to refuse to even have a government e-mail account set up for you because you want complete control of what's deleted and what's turned over if transparency laws ever come into play - and that's exactly what Hillary did. Third, which is it, Hillary? Did you not deal in any classified information? Or did you, but it's no big deal because everyone did? You need to get your lies straight. Then again, maybe she doesn't think she does need to get her lies straight, as long as no one calls her on it. From the sounds of things, the FBI is about to call her out very pointedly, and at that point it's just a matter of whether Attorney General Loretta Lynch operates according to evidence or according to politics. There's really no question what the truth is here, no matter how many times Hillary declares, "Nuh uh!"
