...But trust her!

Hillary promises to 'put a lot of coal miners and companies out of business'

Normally, if Hillary says she "won't forget you," you start looking for a way into some kind of witness protection program. It's sort of like when a character in a mob movie promises to "take care of you." The endgame is implied. ...And so it is with America's coal industry and the people it employees. Except, in the case of fossil fuels, Hillary isn't even going the double-entendre route. She's being explicit in her promise to destroy coal companies, and eliminate the jobs they provide.

As Hillary says:
“I’m the only candidate which has a policy about how to bring economic opportunity using clean renewable energy as the key into coal country, because we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business, right, Tim? and we’re going to make it clear that we don’t want to forget those people."
Clinton goes on to offer some vague promises about "not moving away" from the coal workers whose livelihoods she destroys, but she offers few specifics. Basically, if you're in the coal biz - at any level - you're just supposed to trust her when she says she has your back. Fortunately, we all know her to be an honest person worthy of our deep, abiding, trust. Hillary promises to put a lot of coal miners and companies out of business
Bottom line here? Hillary's spent 30 years proving that she doesn't give a damn about anyone who's name is not Hillary Clinton. She believes in power, money, her agenda, and very little else. There's absolutely no reason to think this will suddenly change just because she's decided to crush a bunch of "little people." If you're a member of the coal industry, and Hillary is elected, you should know that she views you as a problem, not a responsibility. You'd have to be crazy to believe this woman cares about you, has your back, or will protect you going forward. It's simply not in her nature to do so.
