Hillary receives Donna Summer-based introduction from Dem Senator who doesn't seem to know who she is

What is it about Democrat Senators from Delaware? First, the state gave us Joe Biden. If we sat here trying list Crazy Uncle Joe's near-endless array of gaffes, embarrassments, and kooky claims we'd be here until the sun went supernova and engulfed the planet. "The First State" also gave us Senator Tom Carper. He was asked to introduce presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at a rally today.
As you may know, one of the biggest knocks against Mrs. Clinton is the widespread belief that she's an untrustworthy, money-grubbing sell out who's willing to skirt the law and offer influence in exchange for cold hard cash. Her quarter-million-dollar speeches are still locked away in a vault somewhere, and the stench of financial corruption swirls around her tenure as Secretary of State. You might also be aware that anyone who points this out will likely endure her now-infamous wrath. So, one has to wonder why Senator Carper would kick off a Clinton rally by reminding everyone that Hillary "works hard for her money ...so you'd better treat her right."

Huh. That's ...something. You can tell the crowd isn't quite sure what to make of it, but Carper is committed to the act. Unfortunately, he didn't stop there. Carper also managed to make sure everyone knew that his grasp of Hillary's resume wasn't exactly comprehensive. Maybe he's thinking of someone else? Admittedly, it's tough to remember anything Hillary's done. Even she can't name an accomplishment, so we should probably forgive people who have the unfortunate task of praising her non-existent successes. Still you'd think someone at campaign HQ would come up with a script - and force the warm-up acts to stick to it.
