U.S. president Barack Obama is highly regarded in Canada, and he returns the sentiment by saying he likes Canada, and that he's impressed by the efficacy of Canada's banking and health-care systems. In view of Obama's knowledge and interest in Canada, it's difficult to understand how he could allow his Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, to be so
misinformed about the so-called terrorist threat emanating from here.
Stephen Harper, who should waste no time in calling the White House and urging the president to explain to his inept Homeland Security Secretary that none of the 9/11 terrorists entered the U.S from Canada, that, in fact, they were all legally resident in the U.S. When Obama was campaigning for the presidency, he said he would pick the best people he could find for his cabinet. While his first few picks turned out to have tax problems, his security chief has a more serious problem in that , by her own ignorant remarks, she is unqualified for her job. She should either be retrained or fired.
