Semper Fi, and Happy Birthday, Marine!

HooooooRAH.....!

On this bright and crisp fall afternoon, in the City of Brotherly Love, came thousands of United States Marines to celebrate at Tunn Tavern. Although, the actual tavern where the Marine Corps Charter was signed in 1775, is nothing more than a obscure roadside plaque on a busy Philadelphia street. Undeterred, we take-it-to-the-streets each year on the Southside of Philly at this small bar named Cookie's Tavern.
Thankfully, the PPD closes off three or more city blocks where we have the formal pomp n' circumstances of a Marine Marching Band, a presentation stage, a rock band, and of course the food and beer trucks, galore! We also had a helicopter fly over to the load roars of HoooooRAH! And, as you can see, there were many reasons for the 'smilin' faces' on this great day, and as we donned our kilts in celebrate our 241st Birthday - in style! As you will see, to our backs is an extra overflow street, just in case. A Day to Remember! A Day to Celebrate! FullSizeRender.jpg Semper Fi, and Happy Birthday, Marine! Onward & Upward, Fredy Lowe
