Raw human sewage tanks, Raw sewage on Ontario farmlands

Horton Township - Where freedom shall rule

"I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind." From the Canadian Bill of Rights, July 1, 1960. --John George Diefenbaker, Prime Minister of Canada

The four members of the Ontario Landowners Association who were charged with trespass on Horton Township Lands were lied to by the Ontario Provincial Police.   After negotiations were concluded in good faith by the OLA, OPP and the lawyer representing Cindy and Larry Reid, it was agreed to by all parties that no charges would be laid if the bales of hay blocking the doors of the Horton Township Municipal offices were removed forthwith. The bales of hay were removed accordingly.   Days later four OLA members were charged with Trespass by OPP Detective Sylvain Archambeault. This is one police officer who can no longer be trusted. We believe that he knowingly came to the table to negotiate in bad faith with malice aforethought. He violated his oath of office to protect the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the very law that the OLA was there at Horton Township to enforce.   These questions need to be answered. “What is really going on here”, “why is the MOE involved”, “why is the MOE handing out $250,000 grants around the province for sewage testing”, “why did Horton Township take on this provincial pilot project”, “why did they pick this specific piece of property to build two 20,000 gallon raw human sewage tanks, right across from a multi-generational dairy farm”.   Toronto has lost the contract with the state of Michigan to dump garbage there. Toronto must find other locations and not just for regular garbage, but for the tons of human sewage sludge created daily as well. Where do you put tons of human waste sludge? If it is too expensive to dispose of by incineration or some other scientific responsible way, why not dump it onto rural farmland and call it fertilizer.   Therefore, the Ministry of the Environment is paying out $250,000 and more to municipalities around the province to do so called pilot studies to determine the environmental damage that it might cause.   Human waste on agricultural land is poison. The MOE of Ontario has overlooked that small scientific bit of knowledge even though the answer was already known in Europe. Human waste on agricultural land was banned there in 1982 because of the disastrous results human sludge produced on farm land. Heavy metals, pathogens and pharmaceuticals built up in the earth to the point that the food grown was not fit for human consumption.   So now we know why big cheques are being thrown around the province by the MOE. Under the testing guidelines of the MOE they can straight face lie to the people of Ontario that human sludge is ok based on the test results that they themselves have picked to ensure that human sludge is ok. This is regarded as criminal negligence and conspiracy.   Let’s look at the Horton Township council. Why would any reasonable human being let alone an elected member of Horton Council decide to build two 20,000 gallon human waste holding tanks across the road from a dairy farm? Here is the answer. Which council members own construction companies, licenses and trucks to haul septic waste? Which companies have been given the contracts to build the holding tanks and to fill these tanks? Where is the money coming from to do all this, Horton Township or the MOE?   Does anyone really believe that these tanks will never leak? These tanks will be inspected for leaks once every 7 days. So, depending on when the leak occurred a lot of human waste could leak out. The Reid’s dairy farm has been told that if their wells are contaminated by human waste their dairy farm will be shutdown immediately and not to re-open. There would be no compensation for the Reid farm. We know that insurance adjusters do not give out multi-million dollar compensation cheques every day and would fight to prove that the Reid’s contaminated their own wells so as to collect the big money.   So now that the Reid farm has been contaminated and the property value is worthless, who would be most likely to buy the farm for virtually nothing? Horton Township or a company involved in construction or human waste haulage? Destroying the dairy farm does not mean that the farm could not be converted to growing crops where human waste could be spread.   So these are the facts in issue. The MOE has bribed Horton Township to dump human waste onto agricultural land under the guise of a pilot project that has already been banned in Europe 25 years ago. Tenders for construction and haulage were not needed as this could be taken care of by council directly. Future growth of the human waste business is good because more acreage across from the Horton Township offices will soon be available to dump more big city human sludge onto agricultural land.   The people are enraged over this situation. The people have come to ask questions and determine who is at fault. The people are demanding that an independent law enforcement agency such as the OPP do their job as impartial law enforcement officers who do not take orders from any government body.   Unfortunately, the OPP has lost that impartiality. They take their orders from an allegedly corrupt Horton Township, backed by a questionable Crown Attorneys office, supported by Dalton McGinty through the MOE.   So what recourse do the people have under these non-democratic and criminal circumstances?   We shall invoke the full weight of the Canadian Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Criminal Code of Canada and British Common Law to name just a few.   Jeff Bogaerts President, Lanark Landowners Association
