I am disgusted by the video of rapper Snoop Dogg pretending to shoot President Trump.
The two personages involved aren't the issue, hateful behavior masquerading as entertainment is the issue. We have become a mean and nasty society that excuses bad behavior rather than face it head on. Of course there are the larger issues. One, our President should be entitled to some respect. Two, had this been a white person holding the gun pointed at a black person, there would have been an immediate outcry. Three, aren't we taught to never point a gun
(even a toy) at anyone?
Isn't this something we could all agree about? We must find common ground. And we must return to the character traits that made this country flourish. Divisive behavior such as this fixes nothing.
