imageWell-known private investigator Douglas Hagmann, along with his son and investigative partner Joseph Hagmann, escaped injury yesterday after the vehicle in which they were riding suddenly burst into flames. The incident happened shortly after 11:20 this morning after they left a courthouse in northwestern Pennsylvania, on their way to lunch. Their vehicle burst into flames shortly after they exited the car, sending a large, thick plume of smoke that was visible for a half-mile. Explosions from the vehicle’s front tires sent smoldering rubber and debris across a wide area.

The cause of the fire remains unknown. Doug Hagmann, 49, has been involved in numerous high-profile investigations, and is the founder of the popular web site The Northeast Intelligence Network. He is a regular contributor to Canada Free Press and a regular guest on the nationally syndicated radio program The Roth Show every Friday on the IRN-USA Radio Network. He is also a frequent guest on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and The Tom Bauerle Show in Buffalo, New York. Joseph Hagmann has worked as an investigator for the past several months. Both declined to comment on today’s incident.
