I’m also hoping that President Trump can see through the old political “bait and switch” that is pushing him to approve the present DC Solution to Obamacare

IS OBAMACARE HERE TO STAY?

I like to refer to Obamacare as ObamaScare. This seems to reflect the true meaning of the term, especially for those who resist/rebel against the [forced] use of Obamacare. But there is more to this today than previously. There is talk of repealing Obamacare. There is also talk of “repairing,” “Replacing,” and “Changing Obamacare” so, apparently, it will be more acceptable to the voter.
Make no mistake; the voter is who carries the punch here. It’s the voter that gave us President Trump and much of it was because of his promise to repeal Obamacare. After he got the election and, no doubt, was influenced by the old network of “Good Ole Boys,” he changed the word “repeal” to “repeal and replace” Obamacare. But the word “replace” may be a bad spelling of what The DC Swamp wants to drown US in this time. Do they mean merely “replace” or are they really meaning in the use of the word “re-place” Obamacare? From what I’m hearing lately, they want to give US something that is so much like Obamacare that it also stinks. Keep in mind that getting rid of Obamacare cannot be done without great misery — IF — they try to do it in the ordinary DC Swamp way. Obamacare has embedded in it provisions the mandate that it cannot be summarily undone. It has been threaded though other programs such that the other affected programs would also have to be reconfigured to allow them to survive. First question is whether we want such programs to survive at all... But if this demands an honest answer, here come the Democrats with sorrowful examples of devastated lives and a great show of tears (ever see a politician that did not have crying down to an art?) and emotion reeking from their every pore. The result would be the media painting anyone who imagined totally repealing Obamacare as uncaring and heartless Americans and this would also be extended to satellite programs that are linked to and affected by Obamacare. There is another solution, though. That is for a proclamation for EVERY person that comes in contact with Obamacare to simply ignore it. And to also ignore the links to other programs and vice versa. But, some may ask, can this be possible? Sure. It is not only possible but is standard modus operandi practiced by Democrats every day.

An example of ignoring a grandiose problem in America, and especially American Politics, is the way the National Debt is being ignored. In some ways, this is a much greater problem than national healthcare which is mainly used by the Left as a tool for Progressives (and Progressive is just another slick name for Liberals/Socialists). It is taken for granted, by the Left, that is not a problem. If it were, the Democrats would have been all over it like flies on a corpse. Boil it down and it’s another aspect of the Left’s hypocrisy. There have been many discussions about the National Debt. One comment that had some strength was that it could be wiped off the books by a simple flick of the wrist from the hand that holds an executive pen. That comment has some merit and so does the repeal OR the total ignoring of Obamacare and all its ramifications. The aftermath and fallout of the vast vacuum caused by repealing Obamacare could be taken care of by the government, of course, but why not allow our great number of charities and sympathetic people handle it? Those who are scamming the system can be identified and quickly “encouraged” to assist in the resolution of their problems (a job) and not depend entirely on the government. The burden would be lessened and this means ultimately for us who are taxpayers. I’m also hoping that President Trump can see through the old political “bait and switch” that is pushing him to approve the present DC Solution to Obamacare which is nothing more than another kicking-the-can-down-the-road scheme. If so, then there is hope. The “Plan” now just guarantees that it will not resolve the problem but eventually bring us back to the problem like toothaches that are sometimes ignored when the solution is at the nearest dentist’s office. Are we going to be media fodder or smart about this? The quickest and surest way to ‘gitterdone' is to get the attention of our representatives and make them understand that if they allow this to continue or be perpetuated, they will not only show up on the short list for replacement, but that they will be pursued relentlessly until they do the job they were sent to do in Washington. Some of them, mostly those who take the retirement option rather than fight their past sometime in the future — like Reid —and which we may see McConnell do later. Those people sit up nights making sure they remain in office and fulfill their dreams (careers?) while the vast majority of people are busy sleeping in preparation for a real job the next day. Rest assured, though, that most of this honorable group is not on the Left. Those on the left are busy day and night promoting their god: Progressivism.
