"Imagine that cops came to your house. Imagine you knew your rights and didn't answer the door. Then imagine that law enforcement unilaterally escalated to the point that a bomb squad was called in." Would blocking off streets and evacuating a nearby theater really be necessary if all you had done was to reveal some strange things going on inside the corporation where you had been employed? The first sentence above is not the beginning of some contemporary spy novel; It is a Tweet from former Google employee, Zach Vorhies, who blew the whistle on Google as he believed that they were intending to tamper with elections in the United States.
Google insider
Zachary Vorhies was previously a Google insider who anonymously leaked internal documents to Project Veritas about the intent of the tech giant's leadership to illegally influence U.S. political elections. According to Vorhies, he had a struggle to do so because he was earning around $250,000 annually. Yet, the young man could not live with his conscience if he were to turn his head away and pretend he did not know what he knew. So, according to Project Veritas, in June of this year, Vorhies turned over approximately 1,000 pages of Google internal documents to the Department of Justice Antitrust Division.
In early July of this year, CSN featured a story regarding that exposure of Google. As Americans had enjoyed celebrations honoring the birth of America, James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas posted an undercover video of Google executive Jen Gennai explaining how the internet giant is manipulating algorithms determining search results so they could prevent the re-election of Donald Trump, or undermine the 2020 electoral process. The video had been posted online, but once it had been discovered, it was promptly removed from YouTube. The active links were broken. An unsuspecting public would not have known. Fortunately, quick-acting patriots were able to preserve the original video, which was posted in our newsletter.
Yet, if one doubts the reporting of algorithmic bias or unfairness, an interested student of subversion can conduct their own search engine experimentation. For example, one can simply enter their own search on the search engine of choice and compare with the outcomes from any other search engines. Sometimes articles appear on the list of search results that are redundant, but if one examines the top listed sources covering particularly controversial topics, the sources come from Leftist news sources first, as if there is only one side of a controversial issue.
General public may be oblivious to how access to the "news" actually occurs
Real news stories are often buried, and it is also the result of lack of coverage of the news media. A glaring example during the Obama Administration was the Treyvon Martin shooting, which occurred in the same period as the killing of border patrol agent Brian A. Terry. At the time, search results brought up very little about a real news story. Sharyl Attkisson was somewhat ostracized by CBS for trying to report the news of the Terry shooting, and just in general of trying to report the truth through her investigative reporting. In that case, the mainstream news media played down the shooting of a law enforcement official who was doing his job, in favor of fanning the flames of racism with the Martin shooting. Sadly, the general public may still be oblivious to the realities of what happened in that time.

I've been wanting to write about the unseen influences on the media by coordinated, paid factions, whether they're from political, corporate or other special interests, the tactics they use to manipulate the images we see, not just in the news but on Facebook, Wikipedia, or fake Twitter accounts. It's become a way of life and I don't think the public is aware of how much nearly everything you see today may be influenced, in some fashion, by a paid interest that wants you to think something,

Google calls for wellness check and SFPD, a bomb squad, and the FBI show up
In the same spirit, an attempt to uncover the truth or to expose treacherous activity, Vorhies decided to expose the manipulation of the news the public receives via Google search engines. Yet, shortly after the report through Project Veritas, Vorhies reported he received a letter from Google with several demands. According to Project Veritas, Vorhies explained that he complied with Google's demands, one of which was a request for internal Google documents he had retained. Apparently, Vorhies told Google then that he sent the retained documents to the Department of Justice. However, Google informed him they called the police to perform a "wellness check" on him. That is when he decided to go ahead with an official videotaped interview.
But the police did pay him the visit that was described at the outset of this article. From Vorhies account, the San Francisco Police Department received a call from Google officials, which caused them to seek him out to perform a mental health check on him. Vorhies provided this report of the incident to Project Veritas:
...they got inside the gate, the police, and they started banging on my door... And so the police decided that they were going to call in additional forces. They called in the FBI, they called in the SWAT team. And they called in a bomb squad.
There is a partial video of this incident that was provided to Project Veritas. According to local news reports, and video clips of the law enforcement operation from local TV news, police closed several blocks surrounding Vorhies' Valencia Street residence. Apparently, the SFPD, a bomb squad, and the FBI surrounded Vorhies' residence. Vorhies reported that Google executives told the police that he was "suicidal" and a "potential" danger. This is also the primary justification for seizure of privately owned guns under the proposed "Red Flag" laws that are being proposed throughout the nation. It all makes a citizen wonder why a major corporation would go to all that trouble for one person.
"Alienating Conservatives"
Yet, Google has recently had Its share of trouble over the dissenters that challenge the politically correct, groupthink culture. Two years ago, Google fired employee James Damore after he wrote an open memo accusing the tech giant of "alienating conservatives" at its headquarters in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In December of 2016, it was reported that Google was being sued by a company product manager identified only as "John Doe," who claimed he had been falsely accused by a Google manager of "leaking" information to the press. The lawsuit alleged the company's policies improperly muzzle employees. The suit challenged the legality of Google's policies and the plaintiff sought damages for a number of alleged violations of California labor code under the state's Private Attorneys General Act. The lawsuit came on the heels of the 2016 election when internet giants came under intense pressure for their treatment of freedom of speech, and role in the dissemination of "fake news." Especially during that time, Google's executive chairman had revealed to have had a close relationship with the Clinton campaign, and had created a "strategic plan" to help the Democrats track voters and win the election.
In January of 2018, terminated employee James Damore filed a class action lawsuit Monday against Google, which alleged discrimination against conservative and white male employees. The software engineer had worked for Google from 2013 until August when he was fired after he drafted and circulated an internal memo concerning diversity, gender, and political beliefs, which went viral. It even sparked colleagues to send Damore threats. Damore's complaint, filed at the Superior Court of California in Santa Clara, was a response to diversity workshops and the company's political correctness and hiring practices, and to his termination:
Google employees who expressed views deviating from the majority view at Google on political subjects raised in the workplace and relevant to Google's employment policies and its business, such as 'diversity' hiring policies, 'bias sensitivity,' or 'social justice,' were/are singled out, mistreated, and systematically punished and terminated from Google, in violation of their legal rights.
Google culture dominated by left-wing "outrage mobs"
Flash forward to 2019. In May of this year, an open letter from a Google software engineer went public, and he described the company culture as dominated by left-wing "outrage mobs" who used Google's bias - reporting channels, supposedly anonymous feedback channels, to shut down conservative thought. The disclosures Mike Wacker made on FOX Business Opens a New Window which talked about how the witch hunts at Google became the start of his own ostracization from the company. In March, Wacker claimed that Google management offered him a severance package to leave, with the implication that he would be fired under a convenient pretext if he refused their offer. He explained he was then suspended, and eventually fired for revealing what he saw as anti-conservative and anti-Christian bias at Google.
In reality, what Zach Vorhies did was more than just one more desperate attempt by employees to call attention to what is truly going on inside the hallways of Google that seems to be more serious because he truly believes that the elites and their groupies at Google were intending to tamper with elections in the United States. One may ask whether such concerns could actually materialize. Consider that in August of 2015, a little over a year before election day 2016, left -leaning Politico posted a report on the findings of Dr. Robert Epstein, senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology and former editor-in-chief of Psychology Today, which confirmed Google could manipulate the outcome of elections in the United States.
Dr. Epstein made a study of the potential Google had to move voters and he concluded:
Google, Inc. has amassed far more power to control elections--indeed, to control a wide variety of opinions and beliefs--than any company in history has ever had. Google's search algorithm can easily shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20 percent or more--up to 80 percent in some demographic groups--with virtually no one knowing they are being manipulated...Our new research leaves little doubt about whether Google has the ability to control voters. In laboratory and online experiments conducted in the United States, we were able to boost the proportion of people who favored any candidate by between 37 and 63 percent after just one search session. The impact of viewing biased rankings repeatedly over a period of weeks or months would undoubtedly be larger.
In light of such a reality, Americans should not be so concerned about Russians meddling in our national elections when we have our own home-grown manipulators right in the U.S. However, citizens should ask whether such actions could actually be considered treason. Unfortunately, they may have to just "Google it" and hope for decent search results.
