On Wednesday, The Hill reported that the Obama administration is set to block Washington, D.C., authorities, from building a new stadium for the Redskins because of objections to the team name, which many liberals believe is racist. In response, radio talk show host Mark Levin suggested banning the Democratic Party instead.
"I have an idea," he said. "Let us ban the name 'Democratic Party." For much of it's history, he added, the Democrat Party was "a Party of terrorism, was a Party of the Klansmen, was a Party of the segregationists," and today, he continued, the Democratic Party is "the Party of tyranny and totalitarianism."
And, he added, under Democrats, Americans have suffered slavery, segregation and Jim Crow laws. "Today," he said, "we have centralized tyranny."
