Media propagandists attack General Kelly

Media propagandists attack General Kelly Here's how false propaganda generates hate. White House chief of staff General Kelly says Representative Frederica Wilson (D-FL), during the dedication of an FBI facility in Florida, began bragging about her role in legislation in regard to the dedication. Kelly mistakenly says she was bragging about getting the FUNDING for the facility RATHER THAN what the legislation actually was, the NAMING of the facility.
The false propagandists, instead of acknowledging that Kelly mistakenly referred to the funding rather than the naming, decided they could use the mistake to "prove" that Kelly made it all up. The implication, then, was that President Trump and his Chief of Staff Kelly made up the whole thing to discredit Wilson who, therefore, had to be telling the truth. So they dig up the video of when the FUNDING legislation was passed and show that Wilson wasn't there and note that the date of the FUNDING was before Wilson was in Congress. The implication, again, being that Kelly was fabricating everything on the orders of his boss, President Trump. But a transcript of the dedication shows Wilson spoke up to point out her role in the PASSING of legislation for that dedication, which had been scheduled before legislation was passed to name it. Then the media does their part and make headlines about General Kelly lying about Rep. Wilson, with some of the articles adding, finally, in the last sentence of the article that Wilson DID vote on the NAMING of the facility. Of course they don't bother to dig up the C-SPAN video showing her voting on the naming legislation. As Ben Shapiro explains, "Kelly's larger point was that Wilson had given a self-aggrandizing speech inappropriately at a memorial service."

As to Representative Wilson, if she even listened to any of the speakerphone call from President Trump, she was listening with the purpose of grasping something she could twist then speak her lies into the ear of bereaved Gold Star widow Myeshia Johnson, who trusted her. Then, to compound her subterfuge, she ignored what General Kelly said in response. He mostly went through an explanation of the process involved in returning the body of a fallen soldier to the family and explained the process of contacting those who lost someone - in person, in letters, and sometimes the President contacting them by phone. After that he explained, in the context of the whole process, why Rep. Wilson was wrong in what she did. But Wilson acts like all Kelly did was defend Trump because Trump told him to. Of course someone who actually listens to what Kelly said at the press conference will know that Kelly is not simply a Trump mouthpiece, rather Trump trusts him to make good decisions and, as he spoke about, is able to speak wisdom to the President and help in the President's decision making. While it appears the propagandists have accomplished their purpose of putting in the minds of their faithful the false assertion that General Kelly is nothing but a liar, it's so nice to see so many people on social media now who are rejecting the lie machine of the Left and speaking out for the truth. As the national motto of India says, Satyameva Jayate, or, The Truth Will Prevail.
