This self-crowned King of Lukewarmers who made it to the top of a soon to crumble hill by liberally quoting the Good Book, must have missed what the Bible says about being lukewarm

Mewling ‘lukewarmers’ now scurrying for cover

Now that Election 2016 is less than two weeks away, the “I-don’t-like-Trump—but-I’ll-vote-for-him-anyway” groupies are beginning to make their way in from the cold. These garrulous pundits of doublespeak retain the same body temperature both inside and outside the tent:lukewarm. Call them lukewarm because that’s what they perpetually are—even when the future of their own nation’s at stake. Now that it’s too late for any of their fraidy-cat reluctant votes to matter, they’re lavishing their meagre intentions on whomever still listens to or reads them.

Lacking the intestinal fortitude to come right out and say

Lacking the intestinal fortitude to come right out and say, “I’m voting Trump because he’s America’s only chance”, instead they wrap themselves in reams of tattered excuses about not really liking him but voting for him anyway, as if their reluctant, too late by far personal vote is going to bring about the dramatic change so sorely needed to rescue America from the cliff’s edge. The frustration for the masses is that the ‘lukewarmers’, opportunists that they are, will always be there, as long as the Internet’s still up and running. If Trump loses the presidency, they’ll say, “Didn’t we try to warn you from the get-go he was a loser?” If Trump wins, they’ll remind you, “We may have criticized him in the beginning but came to his rescue two weeks before election”. While Americans after eight long years of Obama abuse indulge in the deepest of despair should Hillary get to deliver him his third term, lukewarmers will be there to fill the vacuum with newer websites and other media platforms. Just like Communists move swiftly to fill vacuums left by chaos, lukewarmers feel entitled to do the same thing. But media lukewarmers who put their own economic salvation before the sovereignty of their own nation are communists too.

All during this election campaign, lukewarmers held back, never rising to heated passion— even when all the chips were down

All during this election campaign, lukewarmers held back, never rising to heated passion— even when all the chips were down. They only stepped forward when they became fearful that any skin they already had in the game ran the risk of being ever so slightly singed. Though he served public office almost 2000 years ago, time immemorial l remembers the most infamous lukewarm of them all, Pontius Pilate. Knowing down at heart that the man called Jesus was innocent of all with which He had been charged, all it took for Pilate to wash his hands free of our Saviour was the chant of “Crucify him!: “Crucify him!” Unfortunately for the rest of us ,lukewarmers are the world’s biggest survivors, their shirking of duty soon forgiven by being forgotten and overlooked. In a bid to guarantee their own survival, lukewarmers become the holier-than-thous, lecturing the rest of us about things like “voting your conscience” or “voting on principle”. The cascading waterfall of the lukewarmers’ blocking off Trump runs off in hundreds of rivulets, primary among them ‘Vote for Hillary because we can always impeach her after election’. Sure, just like Obama was never impeached even after eight years of America’s visible deliberate destruction.

Mantra should be “Don’t vote for Hillary” rather than “Elect Hillary, then impeach her.”

The mantra should be “Don’t vote for Hillary” rather than “Elect Hillary, then impeach her.” Glenn Beck made his disdain for GOP nominee Donald Trump clear earlier this month, when he suggested voting for Democrat Hillary Clinton could be a “moral, ethical choice.” (Huffington Post, Oct. 24, 2016) Imagine the astounding arrogance audacity of anyone saying that. “Now, the conservative pundit has gone even further, saying that Trump’s behavior seems “possibly sociopathic.” (Huffington Pos)
“In an interview with Charlie Rose on Tuesday, Beck said he thought Trump was a sociopath because of his lack of empathy for others. “Have you seen him, during the last year and a half, truly feel for someone that couldn’t help him?” Beck asked. “Truly connect on a human level and say, ‘This has made me stop. This has made me think. I’m deeply sorry for what I have said?’” “Frightening,” he added. “Beck has been part of the conservative anti-Trump movement. He told Vice that he even considered voting for Clinton, but ultimately “can’t do it.” “I think Donald Trump is so unstable ― so dangerous ― that it has crossed my mind,” Beck said.”
Sure, Glenn. This self-crowned King of Lukewarmers who made it to the top of a soon to crumble hill by liberally quoting the Good Book, must have missed what the Bible says about being lukewarm:
Revelation 3:14-16 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
