Telegraphing the narrative

MSNBC anchor wonders: Is Trump using Twitter to provoke a domestic terror attack?

So, when (God forbid) there's another terror attack on U.S. soil, you know what the narrative will be. Despite logic, facts, and common sense to the contrary, MSNBC is now openly broadcasting their plan to lay an atrocity at the President's feet. Donald Trump, that horrible, no-good, monster, will have caused it - deliberately. That's the word from MSNBC anchor, and apparent conspiracy theorist, Thomas Roberts. On Sunday night, Roberts offered the half-baked hypothesis that Trump is trying to cause a terrorist attack in the United States so he can “prove himself right” on the terrorism issue. ...And yes, he did this on-air:
Just. Wow. There are days when you think you've seen MSNBC stoop as low as it can - and somehow the network just keeps proving you wrong. I don't have a lot to say about this, honestly. It's pure, prima facie, stupidity. But, I will say this: Trump doesn't need to "prove himself right" when it comes to radical Islamic terrorism. His position - that we need to end the #-footing half-measures and get serious about protecting our innocent populace - was proven by the multiple U.S. terror attacks that occurred during the Obama administration. The Boston Marathon bombing, the Pulse Nightclub massacre, the Ohio State attack, the San Bernardino attack, the Fort Hood attack, and the Chattanooga recruiting office shooting all prove the point that this MSNBC clown is claiming Trump wants to make via Twitter. I get that MSNBC is feeling its "ratings oats" right now, but they'd be wise to rein-in this sort of lunacy. Their newfound audience won't last long if they keep it up.
