I spent about seven minutes on my radio show yesterday specifically addressing black voters. Hey. I am one! And my upbringing and background is really not that different from many other black voters.
But I've noticed some things over the years I've been paying attention to our political system. Time and time again, Democrats take black voters for granted. And time and time again, Democrats and their media helpers deceive black voters into believing things that are not really true.
President Obama has tried to tell black voters they are better off in a whole host of areas - crime, employment, civil rights matters and many more - are better off as a result of his policies. And the mainstream media assist him in pushing these deceptions.
Here's the message I shared on the radio yesterday:
The fact of the matter is that black voters are not better off as a result of President Obama's policies. I am not judging the man's color. I'm the same color. I'm judging his performance in office, and by any objective measure it has not been good for the vast majority of the people in the country - and that certainly includes black voters.
By contrast, they want you to believe that Donald Trump is a racist, and many black people believe this is true because they hear it so often. But black people like myself, Dr. Alveda King, Dr. Ben Carson and many others have met Donald Trump and gotten to know him. We know he's not what the media are making him out to be. He has good ideas that will help lift many black people out of their current situations and into better ones. And he cares very much about every one of those people.
But again, you've been deceived into believing something that's not true by people who have an agenda to keep you and your vote in line.
Question what you're being told. Question what I'm telling you too. I want you to. But ultimately discover the facts as they really are and don't just let people spoon-feed you beliefs. And while I understand the pride black people feel at finally having a black president, don't let that blind you to the reality of his performance in office. We are not better off because of him, no matter what you're being told. The sooner you realize that, the better. For all of us.
