No Erasing The Vatican’s Lady Macbeth-Like Spot from View

No Erasing The Vatican’s Lady Macbeth-Like Spot from View Why is Francis, the fully Vatican-backed 266th Pope ignoring what the Catholic blogosphere is calling “the biggest crisis in the Catholic Church since Reformation” amidst continuing irrefutable proof that hundreds of Catholic clergy engage in regular sexual abuse and get away with it? No pontiff can hide proof of truth like a lighted candle under a bushel, nor will refusing to discuss a scandal ever make it go away.
During the current sexual abuse scandal, Pope Francis is coming on like a modern day Lady Macbeth (rubbing his hands) while talking to a spot: “Come out, damned spot! Out, I command you! One, two. OK, it’s time to do it now.—Hell is murky!—Nonsense, my lord, nonsense! You are a soldier, and yet you are afraid? Why should we be scared, when no one can lay the guilt upon us?—But who would have thought the old man would have had so much blood in him?” (Shakespeare) The Vatican’s apparent spot is one that can’t be rubbed out. As the Catholic hierarchy remains stonily silent, the he U.S. Justice department’s landmark investigation into child sexual abuse inside the Roman Catholic Church in Pennsylvania seems to have fallen on fertile ground. The grand jury report, grossly detailing how hundreds of priests had raped, beaten and abused vulnerable children, and how the men of God who were responsible for them not only did nothing but hid it all, was only the beginning: Sixty-five-year-old Father Joseph Feltz, a priest in the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, placed on administrative leave after being accused of sexually abusing a minor, is one among four priests named in 12 new lawsuits filed this week on behalf of victims. (KDKA, Nov. 24, 2018) Feltz, not named in the grand jury report has denied any wrongdoing, according to the Diocese.

“Attorney Alan Perer is representing the victims. (KDKA) “I think [the fact] that we have four new priests that were not named [in the grand jury report] there shows you that this was a broader and wider system of abuse,” Perer said. “When I talk to people like [the victim], there’s no doubt in my mind that what they tell me is true about the particular priest.” “According to the complaint, the alleged abuse happened when the victim was between the ages of 12 and 18 and attended church at St. Michael’s in Elizabeth, Pa. “Feltz most recently served as pastor of Saint Christopher Parish in Prospect, Butler County. The Diocese says he retired from Saint Christopher Parish in October, but he remained in active ministry.” “The victim says Feltz was one of several priests who abused him and the abuse occurred in the rectory of the church.” “Feltz will not be allowed to engage in public ministry, dress as a priest or otherwise present himself as a priest in good standing. “The allegation will be investigated. If it is deemed unsubstantiated, Feltz’s faculties for ministry will be restored. “A letter from Zubik will be read this weekend at all parishes where Feltz has served. The Diocese says the letter “explains that the Diocese of Pittsburgh will follow its policies and those of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.”

For a long time now Social Justice has been replacing the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the pulpit

“The Diocese of Pittsburgh will follow its policies and those of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People”? Good God, so far the Diocese and Charter have not only failed in the protection of children and young people, but have failed them abysmally. So why does the Vatican remain defiantly mum on the ongoing sexual abuse scandal in many of its parishes far away from Pennsylvania, and including even under its own roof? t’s because they’re too busy expanding the cause of Social Justice to clean up their act by rooting out sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is what they do in their off-time. Social Justice is what they advance on their on-time. For a long time now Social Justice has been replacing the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the pulpit. Arguably, no religion is doing more to advance the cause of social justice than the one run by the Vatican. The most vocal social justice activists are not the millennials and campus snowflakes, but the men of the cloth masquerading as parish priests, bishops and red cap cardinals.

In the fullness of time the Catholic clergy have become the Democrats of the religious denominations. In advancing their wholly Marxist Social Justice cause, they even borrow the Truth and the Light by hinting in homilies that Jesus spent his time on Earth as a Social Justice Warrior. True believers know that Jesus didn’t waste words on politics, he spoke plainly sending each one of His words direct to the hearts and souls of his fold. Jesus’s main mission, for which He paid the ultimate price, is the saving of souls, unlike the Vatican of the day. Silent on sexual abuse among the clergy, Pope Francis, who has been loquacious on global warming/climate change and immigration, is just as much a politician as Barack Obama is. And none of the above is to even mention addressing the sexual abuse going on i other religious denominations and the sexual abuse of innocent children in public schools. Shout out to Catholic bloggers and vloggers who keep rehashing the outrages of evil prelates such as Cardinal McCarrick, Cardinal Wuerl and others: How can you help keep the faithful in the fold if you overlook that the Gospel of Jesus is fast fading from the pulpit, even as you lament? Come on, fellas, speak not of yourselves and all you know, but speak in the Words of the King of Kings if you really want people to Keep the Faith: Take heed that no man seduce you: For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many. (Matthew 24:4-5, Douay Rheims Version).
