Norks: We are preparing more 'gift packages' for the United States

Yeah, you don't want to open this package, not that you'd have a choice. If they fire it in your direction, your options are to shoot it down if you can, or take cover. No wonder so many people are sick of Christmas. This would be even worse that one of those stupid fruitcakes:
A top North Korean diplomat warned on Tuesday that his country is ready to send “more gift packages” to the United States as world powers struggled for a response to Pyongyang’s latest nuclear weapons test. Han Tae Song, ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, confirmed that North Korea, officially known as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), had successfully conducted its sixth and largest nuclear bomb test on Sunday. “The recent self-defense measures by my country, DPRK, are a gift package addressed to none other than the U.S.,” Han told a disarmament conference. “The U.S. will receive more ‘gift packages’ from my country as long as its relies on reckless provocations and futile attempts to put pressure on the DPRK,” he added without elaborating. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Monday accused North Korean leader Kim Jong Un of “begging for war” with a series of nuclear bomb and missile tests. She urged the 15-member Security Council to impose the “strongest possible” sanctions to deter him and shut down his trading partners.

Since CNN has already decided there's nothing we can do to stop these lunatics, we might as well just surrender now, right? How hard can it be to learn Korean? And since we'll all soon be starving to death or in torture camps anyway, why worry about speaking anyway? I want to say the silver lining is that there'd be no CNN, but I'm sure they'd settle very nicely into the role of Propaganda Ministry for Bowl Cut Jr., so we wouldn't even get that as a consolation. Actually, though, check out the Wall Street Journal's thoughts on all the options that are very much available to us to get rid of this cretin. The problem appears to be that we haven't made very good use of them, at least up to now, at least as far as we know. Maybe more is going on behind the scenes than we realize. I certainly hope so. The one unavoidable fact here is that Kim Jong Un cannot be allowed to remain in power. His regime must be brought to an end, and as quickly as possible, or at some point he is going to launch one of those missiles and one hell of a lot of people are going to get killed. All of us in the West naturally see the reunification of Korea as the ideal solution. If we want China to help us out of this, we may have to accept a new China-aligned regime that's still communist - at least nominally - but not run by psychopath. That's not perfect but it's progress. I fault both the Bush and Obama Administrations for kicking this can down the road, and here we are at the end of the road, where Donald Trump has to deal with it. If that horrifies you because you think Trump is unstable or whatever, you're looking at it upside down. It's easy to appear sane when you don't do anything. But letting things get to this point was real insanity. You'd better pray now, because there is no reason to be confident this guy won't do what he keeps threatening to do.
