Pelosi makes her last comments before tax vote - has Chernobyl-level meltdown According to the left-leaning "Tax Policy Center," a whopping 80% of Americans will see some sort of tax relief as a result of the Republican tax bill. If you're in the bill's sweet spot, you'll get to keep a few hundred more of the dollars you work to earn each month. No one is getting everything they want. We deserve a much more robust combination of tax and budget cuts, and we should be sending the antiquated progressive tax scheme to history's scrap heap.
But, in general, the new tax policy will be a step in the right direction. The way Democrats are reacting, you'd think Republicans had embarked on a systematic plan to scald every kitten in America on live TV. If you've watched any of today's "debate" on the House floor, you know that various Lefties have dragged themselves up to the podium to deride the effort. It's obvious they're all picking and choosing lines from the same set of idiotic talking points, since many of them have reiterated what others have already said. Then there's Nancy Pelosi, who decided to use all their one-liners in a single, headache-inducing, screed. To her, letting YOU keep a little more of YOUR money amounts to a "Republican scam," a "theft," a "moral obscenity," and an affront to this "holy time" of the year. I love it when Nancy gets desperate and tries to invoke God...

Normally, I'd try to transcribe some of that for you, but it's such a barely-coherent collection of social justice catchphrases that I'm not going to bother. Clips like this are why there are very few people - not even Democrats - who take Pelosi seriously anymore. Clearly, the woman has come unhinged. Then again, I supposed we knew that when she declared the GOP tax bill to be the LITERAL END OF THE WORLD.
