The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D.
Governor General of Canada
As a Canadian Citizen, I am greatly dismayed by the apparent intentions of the three opposition parties to manipulate control of Canada’s parliament. The recent election demonstrated the will of the electorate
to continue in a minority government with the Conservative Party of Canada and Prime Minister Harper at the helm. Mr. Dion was soundly rejected for the role of prime minister and so too was Mr. Layton.
I seriously doubt that any loyal Canadian wants the Parti Quebecois to hold the balance of power in such a coalition with coercive control of our national government.
I respectfully request that you, as Governor General of our great country, defend our country from any coalition of the three; NDP, Liberal and PQ in their attempt to take over our government without the expressed will of the electorate.
I further request that if the three express non-confidence in the government, that you reflect the people’s non-confidence in the coalition by calling a general election where the people’s vote will decide Canada’s future.
