The "Never Trumpers" are not willing to give Trump a chance; are not open to putting the good of the country above their own tunnel-vision willfulness

American intelligence agencies have concluded with “high confidence” that Russia acted covertly in the latter stages of the presidential campaign to harm Hillary Clinton’s chances and promote Donald J. Trump, according to senior administration officials.—New York Times—“Russian Hackers Acted to Aid Trump in Election, U.S. Says

The Luciferian inversion of the American political system is now complete. The Democrats (aided by the Republican neo-con elites) are now the party of wealth, privilege, divisiveness, arrogant hubris and neo-MacCarthyism. The Republicans have (almost solely due to President-Elect Trump) morphed into the party of liberte, egalite, fraternite, and defending the rights of America’s working men and women.

What’s good is bad, what’s bad is good. Propaganda is news, and news is propaganda. O tempora o mores!

Sen. Joseph McCarthy’s efforts to uncover communist sympathizers during the 1950s is well known and I will not explore its pros and cons here. Suffice it to say that, rightly or wrongly, the term “McCarthyism” has become synonymous with a political witch hunt—especially one where Russia is placed in the role of “bad guy.”

Democrats have for some time been accusing President-Elect Trump of being a Russian sympathizer, and Russia of putting its thumb on the scale of America’s presidential election—the broad-brush elements of McCarthyism are there. The left-wing has long treated McCarthyism as a despicable and outrageous example of right-wing overreach, so the glaring irony of the left-wing using McCarthy tactics is too hypocritical to miss—unless you are one of the many liberals with a broken irony-detector.

All this anti-Russian saber rattling is an all too obvious ploy by what “Breitbart’s” Virgil calls the “Deep State.”

The term “Deep State” refers to the complex of bureaucrats, technocrats, and plutocrats that likes things just the way they are and wants to keep them like that—elections be damned.

The Deep State is populated by those who have learned how to game the system—professional parasites who live the good life funded, one way or another, by American taxpayers. They are vehemently opposed to Trump becoming POTUS and “draining the swamp.” It is their swamp dammit, and they do not want it drained.

The whole anti-Trump “Red Scare” gambit would be pretty funny if denizens of the swamp were not so deadly serious about opposing President-Elect Trump. Former British ambassador Craig Murray points out the absurdity of things succinctly:

As Julian Assange has made crystal clear, the leaks did not come from the Russians. As I have explained countless times, they are not hacks, they are insider leaks—there is a major difference between the two. And it should be said again and again, that if Hillary Clinton had not connived with the DNC to fix the primary schedule to disadvantage Bernie, if she had not received advance notice of live debate questions to use against Bernie, if she had not accepted massive donations to the Clinton foundation and family members in return for foreign policy influence, if she had not failed to distance herself from some very weird and troubling people, then none of this would have happened.

The continued ability of the mainstream media to claim the leaks lost Clinton the election because of “Russia”, while still never acknowledging the truths the leaks reveal, is Kafkaesque.

I find the cry-baby temper tantrums of the anti-Trumpers to be vile and contemptible. I opposed Obama’s election in 2008 vociferously, and yet after he was elected I wished him well—for the sake of the country.  (Country First)

He [Obama] is now POTUS, President of the United States. The pendulum will swing back; the Republicans will regroup, rethink, reinvent themselves, and return. Sooner rather than later one hopes. But for now, President Obama is the freely elected leader of my country, and my Commander in Chief during time of war. I wish him good luck and Godspeed.

The “Never Trumpers” are not willing to give Trump a chance; are not open to putting the good of the country above their own tunnel-vision willfulness, and are not going to ever wish him “good luck and Godspeed.” Fine—knowing where to start will make it less difficult for President Trump to drain the swamp.
