Ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee:

Rep. Maxine Waters refuses to meet or work with Trump

Because she's so very important, we're sure you know that Maxine Waters (D-her own little world) is the ranking member on the House Financial Services Committee. If, somehow, you were unaware of that, don't worry. She'll tell you, repeatedly, in the clip below. It seems that she doesn't care much for President-elect Donald Trump. According to Waters, he's a loud mouth who doesn't keep his promises and can't be trusted. She also seems very concerned that he's got it in for Dodd/Frank - a disastrous piece of legislation that Ms. Waters has worked on for years since she is, wait for it, the ranking member on the House Financial Services Committee.
Ms. Waters, who serves as the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee, has planted her flag. She says she has "no intention of pretending that everything's all right, that we're going to work together." Asked if she'd be willing to sit down with Trump at the White House, Waters was clear. "Oh no," she said. "I won't go. I'm not gonna sit down with him. I won't go. I'm not going to pretend. I'm not pretending. This business of calling names, of lying, of retreating on your promises, etc. Why should I trust him to be any different with me? I'm the ranking member on the Financial Services Committee. I've been working hard to try and implement Dodd/Frank reforms." Ms. Waters has been in Congress since 1991. She currently serves as the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee.
...and just for fun, here's the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee threatening the federal takeover and socialization of all oil companies.
