One can't help but wonder if the drastic and yes, insane order to assign females to duties requiring the karma of men in bloody actions not for the gentle make-up of females, will be a fatal decision for our military.

Revisiting TFP.org And Its Search for Culture Reflections On Women In Combat

Barack Obama, no Catholic lover; or even, Christian liker, bent on eliminating any form of Christianity from the almost 240-year-old established United States of America, positioned himself to effectively take a full quiver of arrows of divisiveness when just days before the highly sacred Christian day of celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ, had his Secretary of Defense announce to the world and Christians everywhere the unfortunate decision that women in the military would henceforth be assigned to all combat jobs, with "no exceptions." As one of the weapons of hate of which this Administration has used so many, this announcement just before the birth of the Savior was most stinging to its Christian citizens, in or out of the military, but even more so to those who rely on prayer, open and vocal, to that Savior and at one of the holiest days of the calendar year.
I, as a person born into an Irish Catholic family of a converted Episcopalian mother, with four older brothers, one older sister and a father who was also born into Catholicism was shocked and disappointed in a President of the United States who had chosen to ignore the beliefs and deity adoration in obvious observance of the Catholic religion's common tenets. It is not that the decision of the usurper president on women in combat roles was against my religion; no, that was not my objection. It was the timing of this conscious face slap so near our Savior's birth celebration along with the constantly being public in his overwhelming preference for the Islamic faith, which I felt was in extremely poor taste and conscience.

Guadalcanal: One hundred and thirty consecutive days of no relief from front line combat duty

Most of you, my readers, know that I served in a combat role in my assignment after entering the U. S. Marine Corps at the beginning of World War Two. I served in that role soon after entry in the engagement of recapturing the island of Guadalcanal, of the Solomon Islands in the far south Pacific, from August 7, 1942 to December 15, 1942, one week shy of four and one-half months of 24/7 front line combat. One hundred and thirty consecutive days of no relief from front line combat duty. It was constant infantry skirmishes at any hour the Japanese chose to execute operations with sporadic aircraft bombings and strafing and naval bombardments and some air raids after darkness fell, which was the periods when their land operations were most constant. Needless to say, after just a couple of months at those hours, and many sicknesses from lack of fresh food began to take its toll, while other body damaging injuries and wounds from combat operations, coupled with the devastating body rigors from malaria decreased our troops to a "pushover" ripe for annihilation had the Japanese chose to "push their luck"; which fortunately for us, they were poorly led. And one thing more I might add, was the Marine Corps fighting spirit was an honorable tradition of bravery.

Why do I bring this up some seventy years later? Well I just decided to tell people that whoever's decision it was, if not Obama's directly (which I doubt) that person of group of persons are so far out of their league they should all hand in their resignations for absolute absence of conditions when combat is, as Marines always do, fighting man to man on the ground. IT IS NO PLACE FOR A WOMAN. Oh I'm sure there are women who are hale and hearty and robust and itching for a good fight. Sure they're out there. But they may think of themselves as good as any man, or even better, but those are the thoughts that get humans killed; not only themselves but others nearby because of the uncalled for actions against good common sense. Placed in a circumstance such as I was in 1942, women would NOT be able to "cut the mustard". Crying by some males, while rare, does happen, but quiet sobbing at the death of a close comrade. Only a complete mental breakdown is present when you see a man crying uncontrollably and loudly. They are quickly subdued and not allowed to infect the others into causing a wild mob scene. Women, as a general rule, get completely unglued when they see violent death as it happens. Their loud and distracting screams and wails, if in a gruesome circumstance of multiple deaths could abort any further action that may have been proposed, possibly causing loss of more troops because of the mayhem. It's not only the terribly debilitating conditions from nature and enemy, but it is also the so very, very often embarrassing physical conditions that openly expose privacy and composure at times so often as to mentally break down even a lot of males; conditions I won't openly detail, but I beg you doubters, TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. I might even suggest that, with the "loss of the light of reason" as the author states, there may even be the delirium that if we tried hard enough we might hear of our very disorganized and often demented POTUS, directing his Defense Secretary to issue an even more grave order that all men members of the military forces will immediately begin the process of human conception in order to allow an ever greater share of combat jobs with "no exceptions." In that this unpalatable order would probably cause some unique soul-searching and launch an extensive and costly internal investigation to, again determine the extent and feasibility of such an untried and un-researched novelty of very high level brain-iacle gyrations, similar to, again as the author stated, "One of the most earthshaking decisions of our country, when Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter declared that all combat jobs would become open to women with "no exceptions." U. S. Marines have excelled at their assignments since their creation 240 years ago and though trained and schooled to overcome unexpected and not routine disruptions, one can't help but wonder if the drastic and yes, insane order to assign females to duties requiring the karma of men in bloody actions not for the gentle make-up of females, will be a fatal decision for our military. Perhaps that is the principal reason it was inaugurated by our feckless usurper.
