San Diego Hepatitis Outbreak Spreads To Los Angeles

A deadly outbreak of Hepatitis A that has claimed 18 lives in San Diego County in recent months, mostly among the rapidly-growing homeless population, has spread to Los Angeles.

According to the San Diego Union Tribune:

Los Angeles County health officials declared a hepatitis A outbreak Tuesday, days after a public health emergency was announced in San Diego County, where at least 16 people have died of the highly contagious virus.—More…
